GIMT Guwahati admission is based on merit and entrance as well, depending upon the subject and course. For admission in B.Tech the students have to qualify the B.Tech- CEE exam or JEE examination and for MBA, the student must clear CAT/MAT/CMAT. The eligibility criteria for admission in Undergraduate programmes is that the student must have passed their 10+2 from any State/Council/Central Board, whereas for postgraduate programmes the students must have completed their undergraduation from a recognized university or board.

The fees structure for different courses vary. For B.Tech is INR 5.32 Lakhs and for MBA, the fees is INR 3.5 Lakhs. For B.Com and M.com the fees vary from INR 2.6 Lakhs to INR 1.5 Lakhs.

The admission procedure is online and offline as well. GIMT Guwahati offers more than 30 courses in all streams. The college provides an excellent opportunity to grow and excel in different fields.

GIMT Guwahati UG Courses & Fees 2025

Girijananda Institute of Management and Technology provides over 12 UG programs. The admission is based on 10+2 results from a recognized university/board. Candidates have to score at least 45% in their 12 examinations. Admission in B.Tech is based on JEE or CEE.

For admission in MBA, students must have passed their graduation with at least 50% marks from a recognised university. Candidates have to clear the National MBA Entrance Exam like CAT, MAT, CMAT or GIMT selection test. Admission in other PG Courses is based on the result scored in the Ug course (which has to be 50% in aggregate).

GIMT Guwahati Ph.D Program & Fees

To be eligible for admission in a Phd program, a student must have a Master's Degree in the relevant field with 55% aggregate marks. Students also have to go through a research entrance exam GCU-RET conducted by the university and the interview. The course stretches for about 3 years along with 2 years of research work.The entrance examination is conducted in two cycles; the first is held between June-July and the second is conducted between December-January.

They called to be told about the college and asked me about my previous board exam marks and told me I would get some relaxation on the admission fee as my previous borough exam marks were good.
