The curriculum lasts for two years for the primary reason that there are fewer students in each batch, which makes it simpler for the students to arrange their schedules so that more people may attend lessons at once. Most of the faculty members are doctorates in terms of their qualifications, and they have a wealth of articulate, varied experience. The faculty members here are very professional and come from a distinguished backgrounds.

Coming from a background in hospitality, I felt it was time to enter a B-school and learn the fundamentals of a business environment. The ratio of faculty: students is 1:6. The curriculum is just like what is taught in other B-schools, and it is updated every year keeping in mind the trends going on in the industry. Certain key trends which were adopted in terms of the curriculum were subjects like sustainability and machine learning. Teachers are really helpful as they are having relevant educational experience along with industry connections. Semesters are not difficult and one can pass with diligent efforts. The pass percentage stands around 98 percent. Exams are held every trimester.

The curriculum at IMT Hyderabad is good. Students are provided the right amount to study on their own also. We have exams almost every month and tests almost every week. The institute emphasizes peer learning as well. Many of the projects and assignments are done in groups. The faculties are very helpful, one can approach them at any point in time even with the slightest doubts. We also have a lot of practitioner sessions and also many lectures by the visiting faculty.
I wanted to choose a General management course (PGDM) so that I will have many option to go in different domain like finance, Marketing, Operations, Analytics etc. We are the batch of 240 students and we have around 20 full time facilities. Faculties have good experience im corporate as well as in teaching and many of the faculties have doctorate degree. Exam style is a bit different like open book exam or case based questions. Level of exam is moderate.
This is a degree course and is of 2 years people can pursue Ph.D. after this and it is equivalent to that of MBA, the reason for me to chose this course is less strength which makes competition kinda low and provides you the stage where you can perform and show your skill sets.
The program is for 2 years, and the sole reason being the batch strength is less which makes it easier for the students when we talk about the placement of class strength attending the classes at a time. Faculty here are very professional and comes from a decorated background most of the faculties are doctorate in terms of their qualification and come along with articulate varied experience.
The course offered is PGDM Core PGDM Finance and PGDM Marketing. The course curriculum is structured such that every 3 credit course has 20 sessions of 90 minutes each. The session is very stimulating as there are both horizontal as well as vertical communication between faculty to students and students to students. Some of the facilities are exceptional and most of them are good. The terms exams happened on time and the difficulty level varies from easy to moderate.
I chose finance major and operations minor. The ratio of faculty to students is 1:6, The faculties are well qualified and follow very good pedagogy. They provide suitable material and this is very helpful for preparation. Exams are trimester based with mid terms and end terms. You need to score at least 40% in all the end terms which is a major challenge.
There are three courses offered by the college namely PGDM Core, PGDM finance PGDM Marketing. The faculty to student ratio is 6:40. The college esteemed faculty for finance, marketing, human resource, operations, and analytics. The college offers a great variety of subjects in each domain. The teaching methodology is systematic and industry standard. There are various practitioner sessions held for different domains where industry leaders guide the student about the market. The term exams happen every three months before that two mid-term tests happen to prepare the student for the term exam. The term exam may be subjective or objective, it depends on faculty. The exams are moderately difficult.
First Year includes of general and common management subjects which are related to all the fields. You have to select two electives in the 3rd term and in the second year you can choose all the electives of your choice. Most of the professors are P.Hd. holders and have a good hold on the subjects. Although finance professors are not that good at teaching. Exams happened in the mid-term and end-term patterns. Thorough knowledge of the subject may help you to achieve good marks.
