What's New in St Mary's College?
St. Mary’s College admission 2024 is ongoing for UG and PG programs. Calicut University has released the UGCAP 2024 Second Allotment for admission to BA/B.Sc/B/Com/B.Voc courses. Students can check the seat allotment result by entering their CAP ID on the Calicut University UGCAP portal @ugcap.uoc.ac.in. The last date of fee payment to confirm the second allotment is July 02, 2024. Other important updates are as follows:
- PGCAP 2024 registrations are open till June 28, 2024. Interested students can register online on the Calicut University PGCAP portal @pgcap.uoc.ac.in.
Established in 1946, St. Mary’s College is located in Thrissur, Kerala. It is affiliated to University of Calicut. The college is administered by the CMC Educational Society. It is re-accredited with ‘A’ Grade by National Assessment Council (NAAC).
The college offers graduate and post graduate degree courses in various streams including Humanities, Science, Computer Application and Commerce. St. Mary’s College, Thrissur boasts of having 22 departments with some of the most experienced faculty in the state.

St. Mary’s College, Thrissur UG Admission 2024
The college offers BBA, BCA, BSW, B.Voc, and B.A. degree in Economics, English, and History at UG level. The basic eligibility to apply for all these courses is that candidate should be passed class 12th in with 45% marks. For B.Com Computer Application admission, candidates should have pass 10+2 in Commerce.
B.Sc. is also offered in 5 disciplines namely Microbiology, Mathematics, Botany, Chemistry, and Bio-technology. The basic eligibility for the course is 10+2 pass in Science stream with Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics or Biology subject. Admission to all undergraduate programs will be on the basis of merit in the qualifying exam.

At postgraduate level, the college offers MA in Applied Economics, History, B.Com, and B.Sc. in Computer Science, Mathematics, Microbiology, Bio-technology, and Psychology.. Admissions to these courses are done on the basis of marks obtained in qualifying exam i.e. bachelor’s degree.
Bachelor’s degree in respective discipline from any University recognized by UGC with at least 45% marks in aggregate or equivalent is required to take admission in M.A and M.Com. and for M.Sc. courses bachelor’s degree in Science or equivalent with 50% marks is required.

St. Mary’s College, Thrissur Application Process 2024
Candidates can apply both online and offline for taking admission in St. Mary’s College. They can obtain application forms from college campus or through website.
Offline
- Application form can be obtained from college by paying an amount of INR 50.
- Candidates should carry a photocopy of ID proof to avail the form.
- They should send duly filled application form along with demand draft to the following address:

Online
- Visit the college website and click on ‘Apply Online’.
- This will redirect them to the official website for admissions.
- Register on college website with details like name, contact number and date of birth and an application number will be generated.
- After that click on application form and fill it by providing correct personal, and academic details.
- Upload a passport sized photograph and proceeds to pay the fee.
- Candidates can either make online payment or submit a challan offline.
- For offline payment, take a print of the challan and submit it in bank.
- For online payment there are options of credit/debit card and net banking.
For both UG / PG admission, candidate should produce the following documents in original and Xerox copies at the time of interview:
- Character, and Migration Certificate
- Domicile certificate and caste category certificate (if applicable)
- Class 10th and 12th Mark Sheets and certificates
- Diploma/Graduation/Post Graduation Degree Certificate and Mark Sheet (wherever applicable).
