Admission to my college has been done through an application form published on the official college website. The prospectus for ever year will be published in advance. Admission is not possible through university allotments. For the UG course, the allotment of my seat is purely based on merit basis except for the management seat.
The course curriculum wasn't that much updated. But related to the journalism studies we were provided industrial exposure. The faculties cannot make their own decisions. Sorry for that. They were winded by the management.
St Josephs College Irinjalakudais a great place for you to get a degree. There are so many different departments and courses over here, so you will get the chance to meet a lot of new people and learn.
My course of BA is of three years. All the necessary topics and information that a person must know, are given in the syllabus. The examination process is very small. Written papers are to be given.
The course allows the students to have a overall understanding of all the domains in the corporate sector. The course is a mix of theory and practical aspects and the students through case studies and project works understand the real business world and its working.
In my opinion,I must say the course curriculum is really good. From basic concepts about what is corporate world to the advanced topics like stocks and shares, the students get to learn every bit of the business. The exams are a mix of practical and theory subjects and students need to have a strong command on the subjects to secure a good score for themselves.
Course curriculum in St. Joseph's College Irinjalakuda, Thrissur for BBA is almost similar to that of the other colleges, but there's a slight difference that here practical knowledge is given importance. Exams are conducted in every six months for three years.
