About Vimala College
Vimala college is a roman catholic college located in Thrissur city of Kerala state, India for women. The college was established in 1967, bifurcated from St. Mary’s College and affiliated to the University of Calicut. The college is accredited by NAAC and approved by UGC. Vimala college offers 18 UG and 13 PG programmes along with other certificate and short-term courses and is a Centre for Research in English, Physics, Commerce, Social work, and Economics. Admissions in the college are merit-based for most of the courses.

Vimala college offers admission in UG, PG, Integrated, and Ph.D. programmes in the field of Arts, Science, Paramedical, Commerce and Banking, Management, IT, Performing Arts, Pharmacy, Design, Hotel Management, Media & Mass Communication and Vocational. Admission to all courses except MSW and Ph.D. courses takes place on merit basis and for MSW and Ph.D., the admission is held based on the results of entrance/ interview/ Group Discussion.

- College timing from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm it's difficult to attend on mornings
- The college is old need much more facilities
Admission:
The college is autonomous so I selected this college. The faculties are good they gave more importance to studies. The NCC wing of our college is more powerful. I didn't get any rejections from othet colleges. The college call me first to admission so I take admission here. The admission is based on merit and management. There are reserved seats available for sc/st, catholic and sports students

- The campus provides a good and refreshing feel
Dislikes
- The only dislike is lack of building facility in self financing block
Admission:
The eligibility of course is commerce background with atleast 83% of marks. The application form can be found from vimala college official website. And reservation category only needs 65 to 70% of marks. The application fee is 250 rupees. The admission process is really accurate and correct there will rank list and students are called according to the rank list order

- Learning facilities are good. Every class has projector and other facilities. Vimala College has a good library and computer lab.
- Mentorship quality. Teachers are good. They support us in every academic needs.
Dislikes
- Campus is not so big to explore. Some teachers only support academic matters not arts.
- Canteen is not students friendly. Price of everything is same as outside campus.
Admission:
Since Vimala College is an autonomous college, the admission process is through their own college website. Interested students should apply through their website with plus two score(for ug applicants). The cut-off for UG Mathematics was near 85 and above in 2021. There are also reservations for SC, ST, OBC and other backward caste students. Their application fee is a small amount and if you get admission you have to pay near 7000 rupees as first sem fees+additional charges included. They conduct exams and publish results at correct time without any lag.
Admission:
Eligibility is 10th and 12th or equivalent from a recognized board. Application forms are available online. Application fees and dates are also available on their official sites and also we can consult the college authorities. Distribution of 50% is marked under merit, % of the reservation. Open Quota for 65%, Scheduled caste for 08% and Scheduled Tribe for 02%.overall it's good.
Admission:
Admission was through an online application on the basis of merit. There wasn't any counseling given. When I got selected, I got a call from the college for showing up and paying admission fees of around 7000. Then the class started. I have taken admission based on merit. But quotas for Christian students are available.

Our courses are well updated. The infrastructure of the college is fantastic. The faculties we have is worth studying there. There are a large number of opportunities we have in the college in order to show our talent.
Admission:
There is not a single negative remark about the college. The fees is feasible with amazing faculties that will take care of your future. The college also has anti ragging clubs. The surrounding of our college is also very pleasant.

The course curriculum included subjects and practicals which were closely relevant to our course. We had marks for completing journals as well. Final semester-end exams were conducted twice in a year.

The course curriculum was pretty easy, like what I had been hoping. Nice, short sentences and easy vocabulary were used to simplify things for us. Exam structure wasn't complicated, so we easily understand it.

The course curriculum is student friendly. It doesnt pressuroze the students or burden the student with unnecessary tension. The exam structure is really good, not at all hectic, focus is on knowledge rather than on marks.
