In my two years of college experience, I have been impressed by all of my staff.
Topmost companies participated in the placement drive, and most of the students were selected and received their offer letters as well.

Dislikes

I had to go in search of a place to work, and it was not a happy experience.
I have been enrolled in an aided course at the college and it was funded by the state, so it was not that expensive and I am not aware of any loans provided by the college.

I liked the campus and its people in it. It was very welcoming. The library, the department organised events were exceptional
There was nothing to dislike. Permissions to move out of campus for research work was difficult. Otherwise everything was great

Final-year students are eligible for campus placements. TCS, Capgemini. The packages vary from 2lakh - 4 lakh per annum. 60 percent of students from the final year across various fields of subjects get selected.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I particularly chose this course as I was very fond of learning computer science. And in my two years of college experience, I am impressed by all my staffs. Such brilliant, talented and experienced staffs they are. The teaching method is so good here. Exams are a bit ok. But still, I find it a little harder to score marks above 80. Passing is easy. Exams are being conducted very well.

Placement Experience:

Third-year students are eligible for the campus interview. All companies afford the opportunity. Mostly banks like hdfc, hsbc, etc avail the opportunity. In my class there is total strength of 74 students in that 25 students got placed in different companies.

Masters course in Social Work

Remarks:

Taking a PG degree in social work gives extra advantages to the students. This women's college gives students opportunity to be a part of the society through great purpose. Admission of the course is strictly based on the merit of the students in qualifying exam. Madras University's educational rules are followed for this institute.

Placement Experience:

Final year UG and PG students are eligible to sit in campus interview. As of for Bcom fields 2 companies namely Deloitte for audit assistant and DE shaw for fellowship associate came to hire .Offers made weren't made public.As of now De shaw came with a package of 9lakh/pa but the entrance was difficult and I am not sure if any of them got placed. Decent number of people were selected In Deloitte.I personally feel the percentage of students getting placed should be increased many times, I m looking for placement. I m someone who is looking for a job in the arena of accounts and finance and looking forward to get placed in a good company and looking forward to be an asset to the company and also build a strong foundation for my career

Placement Experience:

The placements are really good. A lot of companies like Deloitte, Dell, McKinsey, ICICI, KPMG recruit the students. The pay scale ranges from 3 to 7 lakhs per annum depending on the company and the post. There are a lot of rounds to be cleared though, like aptitude tests, group discussions, interviews. Almost 70% of the students get placed if they opt for it.
