Stella Maris College is a Public Catholic institution of higher education for women located in the capital city of Indian Tamilnadu state - Chennai. It is an autonomous college affiliated to University of Madras established on 15th August 1947. The college is a Catholic minority institution established and run by the Society of the Franciscan Missionaries of Mary from the Missionaries form an International religious congregation of women representing 79 nationalities spread over 75 countries on five continents. The admission process for Stella Maris College is completely online. The link for admission will be there on the college website itself. The application fee would be 150 and it starts in March. The basic eligibility for UG is the completion of the 12th STD. And for PG is the completion of UG. Hostel facilities are also available. Catholics and Christians will be given some preference for admission. But if you've got above 90% there's a high chance of getting through not being catholic. The college infrastructure, training, and everything is amazing and it causes a holistic development.

The admission process happened smoothly. Didn't face much hassle. It's the paper works towards the university that took time. The fees were not too expensive then. The application had to be completed and processed at the university and soft copies suited at Stella Maris College administration office. I did not use the reservation benefits, but there are benefits that are available.

There was an entrance exam as always. But no cut-off marks. +2 commerce group can apply .you can apply directly from the college website or directly. You can see the website of the college and there you can apply directly.

Well, it was the lockdown period during my whole admission process. So, it was all in the online mode. After a few days of my application submission, I received a mail that I've been provisionally selected for admission. There wasn't any entrance exam. It was all merit based. But I should have attended an interview after being selected. Considering the situation there, I didn't have any sort of interview. This was all about my admission. Later on, I was admitted and I went on campus only for certificate verification.

All courses are available in my college except visual communication. Fine Arts is a very good course and a course named Bvoc was introduced in 2021. You can find the form for application on the college website (stella Maris college admission form). There are no such restrictions as cut-off or marks-related restrictions. A very good method of admission is done in my college.

Details are not that much clear so felt a little bit difficult to view the form and also it's easy to reach when they call for an interview to get into the college. One thing that is not clear is when a new person looks into the website may have chances to get confused.
Course Curriculum Overview:
Master of social work has the aim to trend students effectively and efficiently in different realm of the society. Bachelor degree from the college like AMU,JMI, IGNOU, TISS can pursue this Bachelor degree. The course curriculum is almost the same but elective subjects are different. Students with experience can guide the new students to establish their presence in social activism.
Admission:
Visual Arts create it's own place in the society. It's demand is increasing day by day. So, bachelor degree program in this subject can be a perfect choice for future goals. Candidates must complete class 12 from a recognized board with minimum 55% aggregate. Students must note that a background in visual arts will be an advantage.
