Fee and Fines
- Securities are refundable within 3 years from the date the student leaves the College.
- Special fee equivalent to US $100 p.a. shall be charged from the Foreign Students.
- College dues are to be paid ONLINE. Cash/Cheques/Pay Orders/Drafts etc., are not accepted.
- In case a student fails to pay his / her dues within one month of the due date as notified, his/ her name will be struck off from the College rolls. Fine on late payment of fee is Re. 1.00 / day.
- Fine on Library books: General Re. 1/-per day & Overnight Rs. 2/- per day.
- Membership fee of Rs. 200 for the Alumni Association will be charged from IInd and IIIrd Yr. Students.
- A fine of Rs. 100 will be imposed for loss of Identity Card.

- Infrastructure: The college campus is very beautiful and with a lot of greenenry. The campus may be a little small but its worth it. The college looks like of color red building and a lot of trees.
- The events: The college is very happening. Some kind of events are always happening in the college. The Annual fest of the college callled TIDE is very famous in the whole DU.
Dislikes
- The faculty: The faculty is Atma Ram is not very great in thinking for students and teaching too. Not everybody is like this but most of them are. So it creates disputes between students and teachers.
- Politics: Atma Ram has a strong political front. Two parties active are the happy club and ABVP. They often get into rallies and stuff which disturbs the environment of the college.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I chose this course because i wanted to pursue drugs and phracmacy and the curriculum of the DU in the chem hons course is pretty good and covers and lot of aspects and topics. The curriculum is pretty great and it includes a number if labs which prepares u for working in the future in the same fields and the theoretical part of the curriculum is pretty decent too. Areas of improvement would be the betterment of faculty and addition of more labs and initiatives for internships and real world experience. The exams are held at an interval of 6 months twice a year.

- The college has a positive aura,has got amazing rankings(NIRF-6,NACC A++) to boast about and really qualified faculty for teaching.
- The research facilities provided by the college seems great and my course focused more on practical knowledge than the theory part,which seemed great considering the subject.
Dislikes
- The placement and internship opportunities for science students are less.
- The canteen food is not upto the mark, considering the variety and the taste.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course I pursued,B.Sc(Hons.) Chemistry,as the name suggests is more of a research oriented course,hence this undergraduate degree would really help in students who would like to pursue research opportunities in the subject. We had practical classes for all of our core courses as well as electives,which helped as her a thorough understanding of the subject. The 3 year course has all the subjects necessary for students to get the in depth knowledge of the subject. The teaching methods in theory can be improved by incorporating visual aids,the exams are well distributed within the timeframe.

- I like about the academic. The professor here are most talented and helping in nature of you have any doubt regarding the subject then you can ask about it at anytime from the professor and they will clear your doubt without. Any. Argument.
- The lab here are the clean and the apparatus and the chemicals are newly added time to time so that. You. Can. Do. Experiment with. Less. Error.
Dislikes
- Some of the lab staff are rude and lazy one they don't want to much work as they think the students are only responsible for anything. They even don't know some basic chemistry like how to deal with some chemicals.
- The college is small means it is only constructed. In. 12-13 acres which. Sometimes gives feels like our school was bigger than these.

Only one. Teacher. I. Have found. That is. In. My. Last. Sem. Who. Didn't complete his. Course.. Even some. Teacher here. Takes extra classes. To. Cover his course.

- College location is so prime it's near dhaul kuan and you can visit any place easily
- College campus Is nice it's green and environment is also good

- College canteen is not so good food quality is bad
- College do not have hostel which is so important for college

- i liked the library. there are every book is available for students so they do not have to buy them from market

- i don't like the canteen . canteen was not that much hygenic at that time
- there was no medical facility even no first aid box was available that time

I took admission in chemistry honors because I am very much interested in chemistry. There were good faculty and student ratio in the college. All the faculty are well educated some are Ph.D. holders some are postgraduate, and have good teaching skills and good friendly nature. Term exams were held always on time and the difficulty level of the exam is good.

The course and the faculty members were good. As far as learning experience, it was average. There wasn't much extra curriculum to make that course interesting. Teaching methods were normal, just few teachers were exceptionally really good. All the teachers were understanding though. Exams held twice per year, i.e semester wise. Labs in the chemistry department are good accordingly to the learning, but the condition of labs and apparatus issued aren't really good in such colleges.

I chose this couse because chemistry is my strongest subject.The faculty here is good. The teachers despite the online classes are trying their best to teach us in every possible manner . They take classes regularly, promote and encourage the students to speak up whenever they want to answer or are having a doubt . Practicals are also held regularly every week. We get weekly assignments and tests to test our knowledge. All the teachers are highly experienced and well qualified . Most of them have cleared major exams like GATE , JAM , NET JRF etc . Teachers usually teach us with the help of a PPT and tell us the books to be used beforehand and also provide book pdfs.The student ratio is like 50:50. One section can have upto 40 students but sometimes we have combined classes of 2 sections for practicals and that time class strength crosses 85 sometimes which is very normal. We had our 1st sem exams on designated dates but 2nd sem exams were cancelled due to some issues .
Fee Structure And Facilities:
The fee structure for the course chemistry hons. adds upto 45000 for three years. It includes tution fees, sports fees, locker room fees and all other expenses. Scholarships are available for financially weaker students. They can easily apply for scholarship by filling a form and then appearing for the interview. There are few employement opportunities for students from chemistry hons. Students have to participate in placement drives. But there are just handful of recruitersfor chemistry hons.students.
Course Curriculum Overview:
Syllabus is satisfactorily as we get to study about Analytical chemistry, green chemistry, Industrial chemistry, various instrumental methods.The exposure to industries was not good. We get to visit the industrial plants 2-3 times in 3 year duration.As every college has some excellent, some good and some average teachers, here also the same thing applies. But if you are facing any queries or want to know about something different, there are teachers to help.

My opinion on the course curriculum, academics and faculties is that they all are quite better and excellent for the students of the campus. Our course syllabus is totally updated. Yes, we were provided enough industrial exposure.
