- The college has a positive aura, has got amazing rankings(NIRF-6,NACC A++) to boast about and really qualified faculty for teaching.
- The research facilities provided by the college seems great and my course focused more on practical knowledge than the theory part, which seemed great considering the subject.

- The placement and internship opportunities for science students are less.
- The canteen food is not upto the mark, considering the variety and the taste.
Course Curriculum Overview :
The course I pursued,B.Sc(Hons.) Chemistry,as the name suggests is more of a research oriented course, hence this undergraduate degree would really help in students who would like to pursue research opportunities in the subject. We had practical classes for all of our core courses as well as electives, which helped as her a thorough understanding of the subject. The 3 year course has all the subjects necessary for students to get the in depth knowledge of the subject. The teaching methods in theory can be improved by incorporating visual aids, the exams are well distributed within the timeframe.
Placement Experience :
Placements for commerce and economics students are quite high, but not in the case of science. Science students mostly prefer to go for higher studies or prepare for government exams after the completion of course. The highest package was 6 LPA and the average package would be 2-3 LPA. The students would be eligible for placements in their final year of graduation, with a minimum cgpa of 6.5(in most cases). I decide to go for higher studies after the degree.
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
The tution fee of the course is comparatively less,12000 per year and the exam fees would be around 1400 per semester. Scholarships are available for students who are facing financial problems. The college has a variety of societies to join which will provide the students a lot of exposure.
Campus Life :
The college has an annual fest,Tide which usually is a 2/3 day event. Bollywood singers grace the event and Tide is the second most celebrated event in the South Campus of DU. The library is open for reading till 6:30 and as per my opinion,is the best part about the college. It is air conditioned and has wide variety of books relating all the courses of college. There is also an E-library. The clubs(societies)in the college are quite active. We have a very active dramatic society,Rangayan, social entrepreneurship society,Enactus,The Finance And Investment Cell, Entrepreneurship Cell, Pixelation,Hindi and English debating societies, etc. The college also has efficient cricket, football, basketball and volleyball teams as per my knowledge.
Admission :
The admission process was quite simple till our academic year. The University Of Delhi had a unified admission process for all the affiliated colleges. The eligibility of the course was having Physics, Chemistry and Maths in 12th standard. The difficulty level of the exam is from moderate to difficult,it usually takes places every 4-5 months.
Faculty :
Most of the faculties in my course were PhD holders, and most of them had their own research labs in the college. Students with a passion for research usually assist them in their respective areas of research. They guide the students well during labs and are very cooperative in clearing doubts regarding the subject.
