Civil engineering course curriculam is very vast and challenging, this course can be very helpful for the students who want to pursue their carrer in government jobs. Teaching methods can be improved by providing more practical insights to the students. Exams are fairly difficult and interesting.

Curriculum needs to focus on what you can do with information rather than the information itself. I wouldn't eliminate content, without background we cannot form good, rational and educated conclusions. we are still giving time test in match facts.

There are a lot of branches. I preferred my branch because it was a core branch so I can opt for different options. My branch has a lot of connections to the real world like we can't live without electricity in this era and my branch exactly deals with it. It can be much more better if we can visits a lot of sites in order to know about different places. It has 48 papers in this 4yrs and it was a way more difficult to deal.

There is a vast scope to improve the curriculum which mostly is in progress. Most of the thing that is required to be job ready is being taught throughout the curriculum. But i think the curriculum should also focus on extra-curricular activities to keep students active.

Last 3 to 4 year placement in non core branches are quite impressive thats the main reason I choose this college.College have so many core and non core clubs in which students deals with real life project which help then to gain experience for their future . Branches like civil textile are having less numbers of admission last few year that branches need to make some improvement

In terms of relevance and comprehensiveness it's pretty satisfactory. The syllabus has been designed in a way that it covers the importants aspects of the subject and it is to the point. Here we get a basic idea about the course and it can be also completed within the allocated time.

CET has a good environment for coding as well as other side activities like sports and cultural events and it has good student to teacher interaction throughout their college time... It is the best college.

The course structure is almost similar to other colleges like NITs or Private Colleges. But the faculties are up to the mark. You have to do self study to crack any good placement or GATE. Class timing is like 10-4 average basis and the exams are like - per semester basis one midsem and one semester. The exam questions will be mostly previous year basis.

So the location played an important part in my decision as bhubaneswar is the capital city of odisha. So for better placement opportunities location is good. Also the teaching is not very bad but neither very good also.It is average.Level of exams are also pretty moderate.
