- Atmosphere of the college is very good.You will get to experience a lot of things if u want to
- Clubs are functional.So that cannot be a problem here
Dislikes
- Placement is average and not upto the expectation
- Infrastructure is also below average and needs immediate maintenance
Course Curriculum Overview :
So the location played an important part in my decision as bhubaneswar is the capital city of odisha.So for better placement opportunities location is good.Also the teaching is not very bad but neither very good also.It is average.Level of exams are also pretty moderate.
Internships Opportunities :
College helps us to gain internship in our 2 and 3 year but the main work is our. We have to crack and apply for internship in different companies and if we have referrals than it will be very helpful.It will make it easy for us
Placement Experience :
Placement is not very good but decent.If u get admission in this college then the expectation should not be very high.You will get 12 lpa -20 lpa if you perform extra ordinary well .But it will give you lots of new experiences for sure .So don't be disheartened
Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :
So cse ,cse(ai ml) and IT areas self sustaining branches so the fees is pretty high as compared to other branches.It is 88500/- for first yr only and 37500 for other branches.Cet also provide scholarship of 10000 per yr to those who secure the merit level in the university exam.
Campus Life :
So the infrastructure is minus point of our college.It is pretty much old but the spirit is very high.Cet organises different fests during the year like engineers cup,tech fest i.e Perception,cultural fest i.e Xtasy etc It also has many clubs like Entrepreneurship cell, Arpeggio,Tda etc
Hostel Facilities :
All girls get accomodation in this college given that they all are not from bhubaneswar but this is not the case for boys.In first year only 105 boys get college hostel in merit level and distance also matters.The conditions of hostels are pretty much below average but they say the buildings don't make it a home but the people living in it make it home.
Admission :
Eligibility criteria is that u have to give jee mains exam and apply for ojee counselling. I secured 67k rank in jee mains so I applied for this course in cet and got it in third round of counseling.Cutoff for cse in cet is around 70k for boys without any reservations but u must be a resident of odisha.
