The 1st year curriculum is not so good as its of no relevance to majority of students. Your main syllabus will start from 2nd year for your respective cources and if you gain good knowledge over them, it's quite easy to grab a campus placement. Talking about exams, you will end up giving 3 mid sem exams per semester which will be held every month during the cource which also makes it quite hard for students to do extra things. Probably by the end of 2nd year.

The course curriculum is old and you had to prepare the advancde industry requiremet Skill by your own . In one Semester 3 mid sem test of 20 marks each held and best of two is choosen and 60 marks endsem for each sem . Timmings my vary .

I choose this course because i was always interested in the engineering field. From my childhood i want to became an engineer and gave a little support too develop my country. Teaching methods of the facilities is good. They teach very nicely that every student has understood their language. In my college in every semester 4 exams were held in which 3 are monthly test of 20 marks and end semester exam of 60 marks. Mostly the timing are 11 to 2 pm .

In 1st year, we study all the subjects as it is believed that an engineer must know basics of all fields. From 2nd year we study the subjects related to our branch, in my case computer engineering. They have a good curriculum and also focuses on real life experience. There are three mid sem test, out of which 2 best are taken and 1 end sem take place with some practicals as well.

As of My interactions with students from different Institutes generally The curriculum doesn't matter. For getting right skill you have to prepare by yourself. But still - The curriculum of my institute is up to date It frequently changes and is very helpfull if studied properly. But here comes the point, Almost every teacher don't properly teaches (common in other universities also) nor many practicals happens. The only thing matters at the end is your score or CGPA that is important in your placement. Exams in our college happens every month like MST mid sem test ,there are 3 MST and one Final exam is every semester Out of 3 mst only 2 best is considered. Exam pattern is flexible but you just have to attend end sem properly like you cannot be absent in end sem It'll considered as failed. Their are via or practical exam but that are too useless.

Although the college is autonomous, the curriculum seems old to me. There could be more real life practical subjects included in curriculum instead of some less useful subjects. Faculties are not good (except a few).

The course was not very tough. Teachers were not good curriculum. subjects are good labs are taken. However, the infrastructure could be improved and they could also bring new equipment into the labs. And we also need new equipment in the classrooms. However, some teachers were good and they did their job well, but most of the teachers were pretty lenient and they made easy papers which are quite similar to the last year, papers.
The curriculum is not that great it is quite out dated and it has not been updated in a couple of years however they are updating the curriculum nowadays but it does not have a greater impact on the curriculum and it is easy to learn ever but technology that we learn in our classes is not that applicable in the practical field and we have to allocate extra time from our daily schedule to study topics that will be helping us in the future.

Because this college provide very good placement from the cse branch. There are highly qualified faculties for each department All the facilities are verygood at teaching Terms exam were hardly came in 5 moths and if you attend the classes regularly it not that tough to pass the exam
Both of them are very good colleges and are recognized and reputed colleges of our country, but there are certain aspects which make them different from each other and in this scenario, CSE at SGSITS will be much better than at IET DAVV. Here are the reasons.
Overall, it is safe to say that SGSIT is a better alternative.
IIIT Bhopal is better for CSE. It is recognized on a national level. A B.Tech degree from the institute will have better recognition in the industry. It has a brilliant faculty base. IIIT Bhopal is mentored by MANIT. Faculties from MANIT visit the campus for guest lectures.
The institute has a good placement record. IIIT Bhopal placements 2022 concluded with an average CTC of INR 14.03 LPA. Around 90% of students got placed this year through campus placements.
The most important thing when it comes to such a decision is to follow the subject of your choice and then go for the institute criteria. ET and CSE are different and have major variations in their courses. Being a CSE graduate myself, I would prefer you also opt for CSE as it is widely in demand.

There are several benefits of being a CSE graduate. Top companies like Microsoft, Google, Accenture, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, Infosys, IBM, etc. participate in the placement drive. You will definitely secure a job offer very easily. Due to the huge demand, more and more students opt for CSE than any other branch.
