Out off all the colleges available our college requires the lowest fee. Because it's a government college. Students can apply for scholarships such as ssp easily which gives students anywhere from 12000-22000
The fee structure is very minimal compared to other engineering colleges. UVCE is a govt college .The KEA fee costs around 19000 and the total fee per year will cost around 30,000 including the university fee. There is no fee hike. The only hike one can expect is the hike in KEA fee which revises it's fee 2 year once. The student can avail many scholarships depending on the student's category and their parents annual income. We can also get the scholarship sponsored by the UVCE alumini association
Because of fully government college we had more and more scholarships in our college and community also
College subsidizes fees for SC/ST. Hostel and fees are almost zero. OBC students get various scholarships. Economically backward students get scholarship from Alumni funds and CSR funds. Since fees is under 1 lakh it is possible to get unsecured loan from any bank.
Loan facility is not available from college solely but yes they do give scholarship for deserving students. But a student is entitled to apply for all scholarships offered by state and national governments
The Karnataka government waives the fees for SC/STs. For Religious minorities, the MHRD gives a scholarship of 20K/annum. The govt gives a scholarship of 25K to people with 2A, and 3A reservations. Apart from this, there are plenty of scholarships like SBI and LIC
UVCE Vision scholarship and Karnataka Government's scholarship for needy as well as backward students is also provided and UVCE alumni scholarship is also provided.
