Welingkar Mumbai offers PGDM (Post Graduate Diploma in Management) as a 2-year full-time program. The PGDM course is divided into 6 trimesters. Welingkar Mumbai PGDM Eligibility Criteria

Candidates with a minimum 50% in Degree exam from a recognized University, completed by June 2024.
Candidates must have appeared in the postgraduate level management entrance exam. Welingkar accepts exams including CAT (2023), XAT (2024), CMAT (2024), ATMA (Feb 2024) and GMAT (2021 onwards).

Welingkar Mumbai PGDM Admission Guidelines

Admission to the PGDM program at Welingkar is entrance-based. Candidates must have a valid CAT / XAT / ATMA / GMAT / CMAT score.

All candidates seeking admission should visit Welingkar’s website and register themself.
Pay the application fee and upload all relevant documents including valid Entrance Exam Score.

The curriculum is well designed according to the needs of the changing environment of the corporate world.The Ebusiness courses are designed considering the various software applications knowledge required like power bi,AI/ML,excel,data analytics,etc. The faculties are well qualified and are well equipped in their areas of specialisation. The Ebusiness course involves all the digital curriculum according to the changing scenario of the economy, courses like AI/ML, Power bi, data analytics,etc. The curriculum prepares an individual for the corporate world, however the college keep it's courses updated according to the needs and the faculties of the college are well equipped will imparting the same. All these information related to the course is also available on their website which helped me to choose this course.

Visiting faculties which come for the course, they provide us the realtime industry exposure.

The campus is not that good, which doesn't include any outdoor sports ground.

College has Diverse curriculum focussing on the subjects which are trending and useful in indusrty. Curriculum is designed after consulting the industry professionals and considering what does industry expects from fresh MBA graduates PGDM course follows Trimester pattern. Exams are conducted after every 3 months. Each trimester has 10-12 subjects, some are full credit subjects and some are half credit subjects. Each year has 3 trimesters. Before every written exam, internal tests, projects and presetations are conducted. Exams are conducted as per the university rules and difficulty level is also medium to high based on the subjects.

College takes a lot of students and they don't even have the capacity to cater to these many
Placements are not to the mark and do not match their claims

I am in PGDM E Business, honestly my first choice of course was PGDM Core but I couldn't get that and my next best allternative was this This program is a balance of technology and management, so it gives you a upper hand in real world We have a trimester pattern as in we have 3 trimesters in one year and 6 overall, which makes eash trimester of hardly 3 months that is the worst thing Due to 6 trimesters we have exams every 3 months, which is very hectic

My welingkar experience

Infrastructure is great and it is located in a prime location which is great.
The faculty is also very good and helpful.

Placements have been very sluggish this year
The schedule at times get very hectic and the college doesn't get flexible

The course includes all the aspects of Management along with the technology related aspects like cloud computing, coding etc. This course provides best of both worlds and makes us industry ready. This course is a flagship program as well.

This course is more of practical exposure as compared to other PGDM/ MBA courses. I personally felt I have learnt more about how actually a problem should be approached and what approach should be taken to soove it from a business point of view. This course has included many projects based submissions than theory papers. As of now I dont feel any improvement as such but industry visits can also me made a frequent activity so that more practical exposure is ensured. There is a trisemester pattern for the exams that is followed, it is a bit hectic but then you got to get along it.

The infrastructure is amazing with amazing faculties as well.
There are many facilities available which help us in many ways

Some college officials are very rude. There are a few people who work very slowly
Network inside the college is not very good. Jio is very nice but airtel is not good

Our program is very amazing. It not only teaches us theory but also helps us to understand its application practically and into current market conditions. Understanding customer experiences and then making appropriate changes according to the feedback and making a customer-centric product through live feedback helps us to develop. I myself have learnt too many skills and softwares which help me to think differently and apply them at various problems to generate and ideate a solution

Weschool from the eyes of a student.

The range of faculty in weschool is impressive, it has various in house professors and some of the visiting faculties with very impressive career backgrounds.

The trimesters go by very quickly, we don’t got many holidays , making time for ourselves is really difficult

The course curriculum at we school Mumba, was pretty solid. It had specific aspects that caught my interest and influenced my decision to choose pgdm E-business course the curriculum did a good job of preparing me for real world applications, which I found valuable. However, there is always a room for improvement. I think the curriculum could be more practical and hands on to enhance the learning experience. The exams are challenging but I feel they are very fair in assessing our knowledge.

What is the college's policy for tuition and fee refunds in case of program changes or withdrawals?

After admission to We School, a student has chance of cancelling his or her admission upto 45 days. In such case, We School will refund student’s program fees after levying cancellation charges. However, after 45 days no refund is made.
