The course that I have selected is English. Since it is a literature subject at first it was difficult for me to understand but after attending my classes regularly and after the help of my teachers it became quiet easy for me. The college also use to held sessional exams which helps us in improving ourselves and knowing where our mistakes are. And the finals are also held in a very proper way under the strict observation of our professors and overall it helps us in performing better

I'm really grateful for studying under the Assam Govt.s decided course curriculum. As I've compared my studies with other universities, I could tell how much more I've learnt in all those years. We've started off from 16th century literature till 20th century modern writings. Not only that, we've also got to choose our own country and specific literature in the 2nd year. Which really made me happy as I always wanted to study American literature. So it was pretty much of great experience.

It was awesome. We got to learn about so many things that I was very happy. The teachers are very friendly and helpful. I never faced any problem because they were always there to guide and support me
The course curriculum is very up-to-date.It includes lectures, presentation, audio visual lessons, examination etc.The students perticipate in various workshops and seminars paper presentation etc.The faculties are highly experienced and qualified.
I chose English Majors because I was always good in literature and books. I love reading. And I wanted to persue a career in the same. For me, the learning experience mattered and not some big-name college from Delhi University. So I chose this humble one. However, I was amazed by their teaching skills and others. The professors are the best. There were around 60 students per class. Only one section in the first semester and later it got increased. Exams were moderately tough and you could pass them but only if you studied. And you had to study believe me. The teaching method used by the professors was simple. Teaching from the books. Overall a very good faculty.
The course was good. Our teachers always work hard for the students. For the development of us and provide necessary notes to us. So, I always like this course and never face any problem. It was all good and scoring subjects.
I feel that the curriculum was little hard and lengthy. The curriculum was quite modified and presented in a very systematic manner. The faculties are very talented and experienced. They are very helpful and flexible.
The fee structure is divided into two parts. The first part is the admission fees which you pay at the time of admission. It is usually in between Rs 6000-7000. This will be paid annually for the duration of the course (3 yrs for Bachelors and 2 yrs for Masters). The second part is the examination fee which is paid for examinations. It is usually Rs 600-750. This is paid for the semester ending examinations (6 times for Bachelors and 4 times for Masters).
