I was inclined towards Finance and enjoyed studying investment and banking concepts, hence opted for a banking and financial services specialization. Faculty at IMI are mostly PhD holders and we have enough faculties on campus. It is a case study-based pedagogy followed here and asked to give multiple presentations. We have a trimester system followed here in which we have mid-term and end-term exams. It is easy to pass if you have paid attention in the classes, everything comes from the study material provided by the faculty.

Course is aligned with industry practices and is practical in nature. All courses are designed keeeping in mind the industry requirements. PGDM Core has courses for all field such as Finance, operations, marketing etc. however BF&S have more niche curicullum aligned with CFA and HR with specific Human resources courses.
Want to go with finance as a specialisation and also wanted to work in corporate. So to have a feeling of such exposure I decided to go for the PGDM banking & finance. The faculty students ratio is 1:45 so proper peer to peer learning could be done. The exam pattern is also very well structured as 40 marks are for the end term and others are for the collaborative project work. All faculties have some post doctoral programs in their course field.
IMI has an outstanding faculty, and the teaching pedagogy relies on case-based learning, which not only enriches a student's subject knowledge but also makes them understand how to apply it.Faculty members are extremely supportive, and there are several guest lectures where we can gain sufficient industry knowledge. The college also offers students the opportunity to learn about other cultures; in the second year, students interested in studying abroad for a semester may apply for a student's exchange program.
The course curriculum at IMI is very rigorous and comprehensive. The entire curriculum is divided into six semesters, three semesters each year. The course is delivered by highly qualified professors from top National and international universities.
A very comprehensive and progressive curriculum is followed which facilitates the holistic development of the students. The faculties are world-class and there is a very healthy faculty-student ratio in the college.
BFS course was chosen because of its placement records, job opportunities, CFA affiliated curriculum. Faculty is super awesome, especially finance, faculty is always there to address our queries Mid term exams and end term exams.
The finance faculty is the best. Exams are conducted on a trimester basis and if you concentrate in class and listen carefully then it isn't difficult to pass exams. Peer learning and projects were a reason for selecting IMI over other B-Schools. The course structure and curriculum is as per the industry norms and the study material and overall learning help in preparing for corporate life.
I chose the course because of the financial intellect the college possess. It is in the heart of Delhi and the facilities are very good and helpful. The course curriculum is top notch and very well upto the industry standards.
