- IMI Delhi PGDM online admission 2024 is open and the last date to apply is July 03, 2024, and the course will commence on September 01, 2024.
Notification
IMI Delhi Admission 2025 has begun for various PGDM courses. For 2025, IMI Delhi will accept XAT/CAT scores for PGDM Admission. The average cutoff for IMI Delhi is 90%.

IMI New Delhi PGDM Admission 2025
International Management Institute invites application for admission to the PGDM courses. The institute offers admission to the PGDM, PGDM in Human Resource along with Banking & Finance Services and PGDM Executive. Admission to the courses will be based on the performance in CAT/XAT/ GMAT. The shortlisted candidates will be called for interview. Graduation degree holder in any subject will be eligible for admission to the course.
IMI Delhi PGDM Eligibility:
- A Bachelors Degree holder in any subject can apply for admission.
- Minimum 50% marks should be secured in the qualifying examination.
- Candidates appearing for the final examination can apply for admission.
- Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 60% marks for admission to the EPGDM.
- 5 years of work experience is mandatory for EPGDM.
IMI Delhi PGDM Selection Process:
IMI Delhi offers admission to PGDM courses on the basis of fulfilment of the below-mentioned criteria:
Shortlisting Criteria: Candidates are shortlisted on the basis of their score in CAT/XAT/ GMAT. Preference will be given to the candidates with the relevant work experience.
Selection Criteria: Final selection is based on the Academic Performance, i.e. marks in Graduation, class 10th & 12th. Performance in Extempore Speaking, Psychometric Test, Essay Writing and Personal interview.
Interview Centers: Ahmedabad, Bangalore, Bhopal, Pune, Kochi, Lucknow, Jaipur, Chandigarh, Chennai, Hyderabad, Kolkata and Mumbai.

IMI New Delhi FPM Admission 2025
IMI New Delhi offers a doctoral program FPM courses in various disciplines. IMI Delhi selection criteria will be based on a valid score in CAT. If candidates do not have a valid CAT scores then they need to appear for the GMAT/ GRE/ XAT/ NET/ NMAT. After considering the test scores, academic performance, and work experience, the candidates will be called for a personal interview based on which admission will be finalized. Students with 55% marks in master’s degree or 60% marks in bachelor’s degree with relevant work experience can apply for this program.
IMI New Delhi FPM Eligibility:
- Master’s degree holder with 55% marks secured in the qualifying examination.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with 60% marks work experience
- Qualified in CA/ ICWA or CS with 55% marks in aggregate.
- Candidates with relevant work experience will get preference at the time of admission.
IMI New Delhi FPM Selection Criteria:
The selection will be based on the marks secured in the CAT/ GMAT/ GRE/ XAT/ NET/ NMAT Score + Personal Interview. NETJRF qualified candidates will be exempted from the entrance examination and will be directly called for further admission process.
How to Apply for IMI New Delhi?
Candidates applying for any of the courses offered by IMI New Delhi are required to take either of the two given all India level common admission tests for management programs – CAT – prior to submission of the application. Only those candidates who have scored qualifying marks in the common admission test are eligible to apply. The application process in detail is as follows:

- Create an account.
- Now login again and fill the admission form.
- The candidates are required to complete the online application form with correct and accurate details, and submit the same along with the application fees of INR 2200.
- Payment of application fee can be made via credit/debit card, net-banking or bank transfer. The candidates also have the flexibility of paying the fees by Demand Draft drawn in favor of ‘International Management Institute’ Payable at New Delhi.

For admission I applied on IMI portal where I submitted my CAT and XAT score and got shortlisted for GD and PI. The cut off is around 65-70 so I got selected and then I paid the first installment after which I started my college
Likes
- The Hostel which too comfortable with AC and Non AC both.
- Bathroom is also good , rarely there is any water related issue.
Dislikes
- College doesn't spend much of events and fests
Admission:
The eligibility is 60 percentile in Cat and 75 in Cmat and also there is trimester based exams and there is 3 months gap will be provided between ending of 1st year and starting of 2nd and students will complete there Summer Internship between that tenure.

- The campus is very beautiful with greenery all around.
- The faculties are well educated and are very helpful
Dislikes
- Mess food can be improved. Some days it's good some days it's not.
- The campus is situated on the outskirts of the city

The admission process was smooth. It includes a Group Discussion round followed by a Written ability test and Personal Interview. The cutoff for CAT is 70%ile. The college also accepts other entrance exams such as XAT and CMAT. There are reservation benefits as well as scholarship too.

- I loved the hostel as it has AC rooms and washing mechine room. Guards are there to take care of us.
- It is a beautiful campus with lush greenery.

- Attendance pressure. Sometimes it gets too much to handle.

As I study PGDM in IMI Bhubaneswar, I opted here through CMAT where I had 89.85 percentile. I applied here and then got interview call. It is a profile based college so cut off is not the only thing upon which you will be evaluated. I got PI call within a week. I had my PI . Basic questions were asked. As I am a student of English literature inwas asked about that as well. Then I had WAT where I was given a topic and I had to write immediately by sharing my screen. Within a week or so I got my call letter. Considering the brand and also residential campus I opted for it.

The eligibility criteria of the course was 60+ percentile. The application form and the various details regarding the fee structure is available in the college website. There is scholarship opportunities for the reservation class in they are in the merit list. Exams are held in or after 1 or 1.5 months interval along with the presentations. The addmission process is very smooth.

Before I talk about the worth of private B Schools like IMT/IMI/XIMB, let’s consider their average packages.

The average package of government colleges like IITs and DSE is slightly less around INR 10.57 LPA. So the point is if you are ready to invest a hefty amount in B Schools, you will not regret the decision as they are game changers. The level of exposure and diversity is almost higher than in Government colleges. IITs, DFS and DSE MBAs have a more theoretical approach than a practical one. However, the figures for private B schools are inflated so do consider the ups and downs.

- IMT or XIMB is a good option for Marketing
- DFS or IMI are best suited for Finance
- XIMB or DSE are best for HR
The final decision is up to you. Try to find what exactly you want from MBA

Which college should I prefer for Finance: XIMB BM, IMT G or IMI Delhi?
In choosing your B-school, the primary factors that you should consider are, the specialization you want to opt for and the ROI you are expecting. In your case, you want to go for Finance. The list of preferred B Schools you mentioned has similar fees and placements so I will be answering solely based on specialization.
Finance: IMI Delhi is the best choice of all the options when it comes to Finance. A premium quality crowd opts for Finance at IMI Delhi and the main reason is the customized MBA program in Finance. Many companies of the Finance sector visit the campus for placements. Finance students also avail the best opportunities and guidance and have a higher level of security than Marketing students.
However, in case you have more than 2-3 years of work experience, IMI Delhi is not a suitable option. Although you may stand out among your batchmates, the companies visiting the campus are not aware of this and offer roles suitable for less experienced students only. So your work experience may not be credited here.
The general preference order should be: IMI D>XIMB>IMT G
Why is IMI Delhi not good for somebody with an experience of 2.5 years? I have got a PGDM offer from IMI Delhi and I was looking for honest opinions about the college.
I cannot agree with the claim that IMI Delhi is not good for someone who has an experience of more than two years. My friend told me that her batch in 2020 had an average work experience of 32 months.
Joining an elite B School is not enough. Once you have successfully joined the desired B School, you need to make constant efforts to remain at the top. Just getting admission is not enough. You need to work relentlessly and meet the standards of the institute.
Even if someone has an experience of more than 2 years, he cannot cut down his efforts to remain at the top. He needs to maintain his sincerity toward academics because there is tough competition. Giving your best is the key once you have been admitted to a good B School. Keep aside secondary factors like work experience and pay academics.
Do people from NIT take admission in IMI Delhi and IMT Ghaziabad for their MBA?
People from NIT and IITs should definitely get admission to IMI Delhi or IMT Ghaziabad. Unlike the general misconception that people from ivy graduate colleges should go for the top PG colleges also, IMT and IMI are rather good choices. If an Institute helps you to build your career then the brand value hardly matters.
I have seen many people who after graduation from NIT and IITs join IMI and are glad to do so. My brother completed his graduation from DTU Delhi and joined IMI for MBA and claims that he was able to learn so many new things in the first 6 months. One of my friends also joined IMI after completing his Engineering from NIT Uttarakhand.
So what I actually mean is people from NIT and IIT can definitely pursue their MBA from IMI and IMT and won’t regret this decision.
What are my chances to convert IMI New Delhi with CAT 92.3 percentile and Xth 79.8%, 12th 86% with a year gap graduation 60.27%?
Considering the criteria and the recent trends, I deem your profile to fare quite well provided that you perform well throughout the selection process.

I am interested in marketing and operations. Which college should I choose for this - IMI Delhi or IIT Roorkee?
If you are a marketing enthusiast, IMI Delhi is a much preferable option for you. IIT Roorkee is known for its specialization in Operations and Systems only. To avail of an enriching B School experience one must try not to go for a technical institute unless it is IIT Bombay or IIT Delhi. While the Department of Managements of IITs do excel in Operations they lack in domains such as finance, marketing, HR, and strategic management. Only the exclusive B Schools excel in these specializations.
The main requisites of a rich B School life are
- Clubs and committees
- Excessive corporate exposure
- Relevant curriculum
Corporate exposure is sought through corporate competitions, guest lectures , conclaves, and live projects owing to alumni connections and the location advantage of being in Delhi or Mumbai. At a B School the clubs and committees are initiated and operated by Management students themselves whereas, at IITs, it’s the younger BTech graduates that do so.
So it’s the core B School life you will be missing out if you chose DOM at any Technical institute. No doubt the fees are much lower than an exclusive B School but you will be missing other things big time.
How expensive is it to get management quota seats at the IMT in Ghaziabad the IMI in Delhi and the MDI in Gurgaon for an MBA
Management quota seats are seats at colleges in India that are set aside for members of the management, trust, clergy, and VIPs. According to the institution, there are between 5 and 10% of seats available. The college and trust have complete discretion over who gets to sit in these seats. The existence of management quota seats in institutes like IMT Ghaziabad, IMI Delhi, and MDI Gurgaon is not well known. For students who are unable to get admission on their own through the entrance tests, this opportunity is available. The fees for these seats are not disclosed by the institutes on any platform. You must have a bachelor's degree or equivalent in any discipline as recognized by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) with minimum 50 percent marks or equivalent CGPA in the course OR A bachelor's degree or equivalent in any discipline as recognized by their respective resident countries appropriate agencies with minimum 50 percent marks or equivalent CGPA in the course to get admission into the Executive PGDM course.
The average XAT score requirement for the PGDM Marketing course at International Management Institute (IMI) Delhi is 88 - 90. To be eligible for the course you must have passed your bachelor's Degree in any subject from the recognized board.
