Admission:
I applied in Jain University in Bangalore, their application forms had certain error and I faced many problems while submitting the information for application, and they do interview before admission of students which was at Bangalore itself, which made it more difficult , i was filling the form and they was demanding for the interview in the same weeks which is difficult as both places are really far , they could have use online interview instead. So due to these issues i stopped applying to Jain and went for FIMS at Calicut which is also one of the best b schools in Calicut
I choosed FIMS because it's one of the best B schools in Calicut and my cousin also studied there and I asked many people about this college and everyone has good opinions only. I also did a little research on this college and got good feedbacks.Fims also provides placements for their students and specialisations such as marketing, hr and finance and a very good infrastructure and well known college. So i choosed this college
And no i didn't get any rejection from any colleges as I only applied for 2 colleges and stopped applying on Jain inbetween due to the problems i mentioned above
The admission process in my college include certain steps such as first you have to inform the admission faculties by calling them or messaging them (it's available online in FIMS page) and then they will add you to a group, were all students are provided guidance relating to the texts process of admission. Then all students were informed about a GD in the group, which will be conducted online. After conducting the GD , the passed students and then goes to the second step which is interview which is also conducted online and after that the students who are selected will receive a e mail informing them about their selection and they are asked to pay the fees to book the seat in the college.
The students must pass KMAT or CMAT exam in order to choose this course. Overall admission experience was great.
