The course covers every current existing technology related to its field, not only that, important concepts are grasped through projects, and all other fields are touched like coding electronics etc, everything is perfectly fine and is always updated when found necessary. The frequency of exams is 2 per semester, mid sem and end sem and not too difficult and are more project oriented

The curriculum may be the 2nd best thing about VIT after its extracurriculars. It covers theoretical knowledge, practical knowledge, and soft skills (communication, leadership, team work) using a combination of theory subjects, lab works, practical - based group projects, presentations on theory topics and research based assignments. Another subject (design thinking) is included in the curriculum involving drafting of IEEE format research papers on the projects and publishing processes for patents, journals and conferences (national and international).

I'm still in 1st year so I cannot comment a lot on this but the curriculum should include the majority of the core subjects instead of the others. Other subjects should be students' choice. But from 3rd year onwards they are mainly focusing on the core but I still feel that they lack the knowledge which is required for placements.

The course curriculum is really very good here which focuses mainly on practical knowledge rather than that of theoretical knowledge. There are presentations scheduled atleast 1 in a week so that students can improve their soft skills and become industry ready. There are 2 exams in a semester Mid- sem and End-sem which are held online MCQ based . The lab exams and Viva are held offline.

I have always been interested in the automobile sector so that's why I chose this course. In the mechanical department, there are something around 25 faculties and 240 students. The faculties are well qualified some are PHD and the remaining faculties are MTech from reputed colleges. they are well-experienced and very well at teaching. Per semester there are two exams one is in the semester and the second is end semester. The exam difficulty level is easy to moderate level.

There is something around 22 to 25 faculty are present for the 180 students. Faculties are well qualified from Reputed Universities and also they are Highly Qualified. Practical Oriented Teaching methods were present. The industry was taken by faculty. In August itself academics were start and in October insemester exams were conducted and in December end sem exams were conducted. this same pattern was followed per semester. Among these, VIT Pune is the best option for Mechanical Engineering.
VIT, VIIT, and MIT three of these colleges are autonomous, and they update their curriculum regularly. So, you can expect similar academics from all three of these institutes.
I have many friends pursuing Mechanical Engineering in Pune from institutes like CIIT, VIT or MIT. Here is a comparative analysis of the two based on some common aspects
The final decision will depend on your future prospects and inclinations.
