The eligibility of this college is a bit high because they believe in quality not in quantity. But if you are qualified the admission process is very easy. Just have to bring all of the necessary documents

Candidates who have passed 12th examinations with physics, mathematics, and chemistry as their compulsory subjects with an aggregate of 45% are eligible to apply. I Got admission through the KEAM entrance exam conducted by the government of Kerala and the category allotted to me was state merit (SM). So the tuition fees were fixed by the government as INR 5O, OOO per yr and as it was a self-financing college they had many other fesses like special fees, placement training fees, etc. and at the time of admission, we had to pay 1000 Rs as admission fees and caution deposit of INR 10,000 (Refundable) and the 2023 year cutoff was 48567 for KEAM. 50-50 merit and management seats are available and at STCET a class comprised of 60 seats for each branch.
For this course have to take maths physics chemistry in plus two. You have to clear keam exam to get seats whether you don't clear or attended you get admission in the NRI quota. Directly go to college and can take admission. Fee details depend on performance in keam or in higher secondary. There are also reservation benefits.
The admission process was quite simple. On the day of counselling based on your rank, you will be provided college. Suppose your rank is above 5000 you may have been called for counselling on day 2. Now there is the opportunity of selecting another college. I particularly followed this college since what I have heard from my seniors who used to study in this college is that here placement facilities were really outstanding .plus since I am from the outskirts of Kolkata I could reside anywhere in Khiddderpore where this college is situated. In simple terms, the location of this college is really good. The quite easy transport is also available here. To get CSE over here your rank should be above 6k. In my time anyone below 6k didn't get an opportunity to study over here.
This college has a good campus. Strict discipline is maintained over here. You will feel you are still in school. You will have to wear a uniform.Have to come to college in proper time.Otherwise you need to pay fine. However, this college has an outstanding placement facility. That is why I preferred this college over others.Apart from it,this college was quite near to where I stay. The admission process was simple. Through the counseling program,I selected this college.I remember I joined this college on 10th August 2010. We were handed over brochures of the streams of different colleges when I attended career fair.
The students should qualify KEAM. Other than that you need to pass class 12th with 50% marks in the science stream with mathematics, chemistry and physics as the compulsory subjects from a recognized board. 5% seats are reserved for SC/ST/OBC. Merit list will be prepared according to the cut off and the closing ranks. My name was in the second merit list and I was called for a counselling session and granted admission.
St. Thomas College of Engineering and Technology is affiliated with Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology. The students who have completed 10+2 or equivalent from any recognized Indian Board are eligible to apply for the admission provided that they will ahe to appear for the entrance exam and on merit basis, they will be selected.
When heard I didn't thought that the college would be this good as it turned out. I was glad to have selected this course. To get into the college I had to fill up things online. Also admission to BTech programme is based on the positive score in KEAM entrance exam.
To get into this college one has to give KEAM exam. I always wanted to go to the best and this was the answer. One should have secured the 50% in Mathematics, Physics and Chemistry put together. Candidate should have completed 17 years of age.
I gave the entrance exam both JEE and KEAM and filled the application to the college and based on my scores the college called me to take the admission so I went to the campus for the documentation process.
