I was more interested in the drawings and design works so I thought Yeah let's take civil engineering and it will be full of drawings and all. But the truth is that after I got admission I realized that for Btech students there are not as many drawing sections as I expected, We only had graphics paper as engineering drawing and understood civil engineering is a vast area and we have many other things to explore and the teaching faculties at STCET were most of mtech graduates and there were 3 faculties in our dept with Ph.D. and also from IITs their knowledge of subjects is good..most of them are friendly and helpful. sometimes we have a problem with syllabus completion.
There are 500 students and 50 plus teachers. I chose the course because of computer batch has more students and I am interested in computer. Faculties are those with phd and mtech and good teaching method. Exams take place timely and not at all difficult to pass.
See during my time there was a boom to study in the Computer Science stream. From childhood, I had a dream to study computer as a subject. I was fond of doing technical things involving computers. So this was my first option. There was 1 teacher per 60 students. In our stream, a total of 10 teachers were there teaching various materials like artificial intelligence, c, c++, DBMS and others. The teachers were well qualified to teach these subjects and quite friendly too. I must say there were two internal exams before each semester and there were two sem exams like being called odd and even. According to my, the internal exams were too easy but the semester exams were of moderate to a high level. However, if you are good at your studies you will have no problem.
In my intro slide, I mentioned the career fair. There I met a person who was then a senior faculty member of IEM college. He only advised me to join electronics and communication engineering since it was in demand those days. Also I had a tendency towards electronics equipment from childhood. If I have to talk about faculty I would say it was quite good. Some were outstanding too. Around 70 students were there in our class. In our stream, there were around 10 to 12 teachers who taught us different subjects like microprocessors, signaling, basic electronics etc. Some teachers were from IIT Kharagpur, some have left job in Isro and have come to teach us.Some were normal Mtech holders. Most of them had good command in teaching. The internal exams were held timely. One internal exam.was followed by a semester. In any year we had two semesters and two internal exams. The level of internal exams was easy but the level of semester exams was easy to moderate
The tuition fees for the course is 50,000. Admission charges of 1000 needs to be paid separately. Total fees for one year is 61,000. The grand total for four years comes down to 2.11 Lakhs which is quite nominal and affordable.
The fee structure of the electrical engineering is around 3 lakhs 70 thousand which is quiet feasible as per the demands and popularity of the course among the students. Hence, it will not be wrong to say that the fees is affordable as per the education and facilities provided by the institution.
The fees is around 2L. It is moderate by looking at the infrastructure you a lot for your money. The placements are also good. The hostel fees are taken separately along with mess. You can also go for field visits by paying extra.
The fees is moderate. We learnt many things. The fees of 2L is quite moderate when we see the facilities. The placement and faculties make it look quite feasible.Overall it's value for money and I don't think any other private college can provide such environment for studies.
The fee is really affordable and one of the most feasible fee structure in the city. It is about 55,000 per year and we have to pay it semester wise which is really nice. There are many colleges in the city that charge way higher than this.
