SJEC Mangalore Faculty

Faculty are very good and easily approachable they treats the students like their friends only. I like premkumar sir,aswini mam,beneta mam.they conduct daily first hour test and they coduct internal assessment test 1 and 2 and model exams .

I opt computer science and engineering in data science this year. Student teachers ratio is 1:5 i guess. The faculty and students relationship is too good. I like Prathima mam the most. I like each one. There are 2 internal tests before semester exam. And they are easy some times and are difficult also.

The some faculty is very friendly and some are not. There are 2 internal exams and 2 assignement and 2 quiz and 1 presentation ans end sem exam of every subject in every sem, the end seem is for 100 marks and it will be converted into 50 marks and other 50 marks will be form internal maeks

The faculties of our college are well experienced and well known faculties. Each and every student can understand what they teach. They are not only teachers they behave like our good friends. All are faculties are liked because the way they interact with students. The exams conducted by colleges are 1st internals and 2nd internals and semester exam . The first and second internals is out of 50 and the semester exams are out of 100. The exams are easy. But the college has removed mcq from all subjects it makes students little nervous of not getting good marks.

There have been good faculties and bad faculties but i can't include their names because of their privacy, but which the faculties have been hired they all are freshers they won't have experience after their masters they comes and teaches here and failing ratio of students is 30%.

The college is Visvesvaraya technological University affiliated .it runs with the rules and regulations of vtu.the vtu marking and examination are made easy to students .the 3 internals ar conducted by the college,2 assignment are given and 1 seminar for total 100 marks and is converted to 50 later and atlast sem exam is conducted which is of 100 marks and converted to 50

There are many number of faculties are in the college they are too friendly with us it's good for students. All faculties are best. We have two internal and one external exam and that are easy for us and there are lab exams also there which good for technical development of students

In our department there were a good amount of faculties , we had around 69 students in our class and we had around 13-14 faculties in our department. We used to have think pair share and other activities which helped us in getting better knowledge

The faculty and the students relationship is good but sometimes the teachers must have patience with the students and exams were bit tough it would be good if it was a made a bit easy as it is an autonomus college

Faculties are well approachable they clear doubt of the students whenever they are asked to, hence there is a good student teacher relationship. As a ECE department student I like Padmini Bhat she is an Assistant Professor she is friendly natured and she is supportive to the students. Overall the faculties are very good. There is no such faculty who is worst Exams are mostly difficult but the well preparation will make it easy. Mark allocation is genuine by the faculties there were 3 internals will be conducted and the course curriculum is well structured
