The number of courses are vast and not really up to date but students have the option to explore every branch for ex like an electronics student can take up mechanical or civil as one subject to go with as electives

The importance given to learning about sensor applications and also the duality that my course provides to students made me ppt for this course as it gives me the credentials to excel in the software as well hardware domain. The curriculum is on par with real world applications and constantly includes projects and papers that cover modern technology. The exams are one every one and a half month and they cover two courses in a day which totals to 3 hours per day. Their difficulty level is moderate and one can easily excel if he/she optimised their resources and their time.

The college follows Outcome Based Education, where students in 1st year are divided into clusters based on their department and they are made to study Maths, Physics and Chemistry topics relevant to the course they chose. RVCE prepares their students for bringing out solutions from real world problems by adding project based learning to their curriculum. There are 3 internal exams and one final exam per semester. Out of 3 internal exams, best of two internal exam marks will be taken into consideration. The exam difficulty is moderate considering the fact that notes are provided for almost every subject.
The course is good. The student ratio is also fine as there are 4 girls per 10 boys. The faculty is also good they teach very well. The hostel is also very good. Teachers are also well qualified here.
I choose Telecommunications because I really wanted to be in any course in RV. So since telecommunications falls under the core branch of ECE we are offered the same placement offers. But this is a comparatively easy path during the process The student faculty ratio is 25:1. There is counselors assigned to every student where the counselor acts as a second parent at college looking after all the problems and gives u great guidance, throughout the course. Most faculties are PhD holders and people who have done great research in their field of study. I was really impressed with the experience of my teachers. I think these are the hands behind the great results RV brings. Internals are conducted trice a sem, with a final exam concluding it. The exam are moderate where everyone who attends class can score around 80% and if study a bit can score up to 90%.
To be honest the curriculum is very tight, 3 internals after one month of sem u donÕt get much time to learn other skills because you will get too busy in assignments and internals, the faculties are also not very good you have to learn it by yourself.
Fees depending on how you join college. If you join through CET, it's cheap. You just have to pay 1 lakh per year and some 10 to 20 thousands more for principal. If you join through comedk then you'll have to pay 2 lakhs.
