I wanted to opt for artificial intelligence and data science but unfortunately the cut off for that stream was too high and thn I couldn't make it .so I decided to go with automation and robotics and the wadia college is located centrally so there is no issue for travelling

Likes

Good infrastructure facilities inside and outside of college
Well maintained and organised classroom, lab with ethernet facilities
College really considered the digital educational technique like having projector in every class, free wi-fi

Dislikes

College campus were too huge with many departments leading to high crowd
Some faculty were not highly experienced
Canteen food is not too good as compared to price

Admission:

Every student need to go through the cap round consuling to get admission through their merits/rank. Total 3-5 cap round take place, and you are allowed to fill the choices of college you want to apply, you can freeze the college of first round you wanted to apply and go for betterment in next round, you can also opt out or make final decision in any round. I have applied for multiple college but taken this as it was near to my location, have good infrastructure, supporting staff, high placement ratio, large albuminy network.... Other college were too long, from 2-3 of them I got rejected by merit, I not wanted to take admission through management/donation quota. College were excepting the admission through management/donation quota, state level counsiling, exam excepted were jee main, advance, mht-cet for home state candidate. Cutoff for mht-cet were above 97 percentile for general category and for outside state candidate like me it was jee main cutoff was90-91 percentile. Cutoff change year to year and category to category

Likes

campus is really good but that includes wadia too
classroom which have smart boards for interactive session
open space to sit and chit chats or to complete assignment

Dislikes

traffic noise in one perticular part of college
class hygiene is too poor occupied with litters
washroom facilities specially for girls and boys too

Admission:

so I got the college with the help of exam called CET where I scored 49% so I can able to get this college while I was trying to go in computer science but I didn't get but yes I got electronics as my department and the process was really easy there was 3 rounds where got this college in first round and my college is pretty good compared to other colleges because my college ranks 5 0 in all over India so basically does pretty good college

Best thing about our course is that we have maximum placement ratio related to other branches but need to develop skills of coding by self , no any help of college faculty is involved. Fest and extra curricular activities are conducted for 7 days onc
There is a campus concellor who would help u if you are stuck in any of the situation and guide u , teachers also provide good guidance according to what they could help us.
There are various club in which u can enroll and learn new things in fun way and expand your knowledge in your field of interest.

Dislikes

Knowledge of faculty is not that good as it should be , we need to do the things by our own and not rely on them most of the times
College building is not too big , it is like moderate in size
We don't have our own college canteen need to eat from Street vendors out of college area

I had put the college according to placement criteria in defending order , I got this college in 2nd round of cet cell.afer cet allotment you need to take required documents for admission at college in the days they have told , it is well sorted process, your admission will be confirmed then.

Likes

the faculty is very supportive and they help you at every step
the amenities are very good and good labs are installed
there are projectors and smart boards in every class

Dislikes

attendance criteria is very strict and penalties are heavy
too many assignments to write and submissions
the college fests are very less and there are no non tech events held by the college

Admission:

Wadia college of engineering is very reputed engineering college in Pune, with decent placements and good faculty. The learning environment is also very good. I had applied to other colleges like COEP, AISSMS and DY patil but couldn't get in because the cut off was high.

Our college has good infrastructure. We feel good
Our college has a good library facility. We can study in library too.
The college washrooms are kept clean timely.

Dislikes

Management of college is poor. The gate security is rude too
The teachers are rude and too strict with us.
Lift is often not available for students, we have adjust too much.

Admission:

I did apply to other colleges. But because of less marks, I got admission in my college. I took admission in my college because it is near my house. Admission if taken in our college through cap rounds and spot rounds.

The college infrastructure is good there are 4 lifts which both students and teachers and faculty can use. There is wifi in the whole college and there are water coolers.
There is huge parking space for vehicle. Greenary is everywhere in campus. It gives vintage vibe.library and reading hall is also spacious and clean.
Digital library is also available and we have 2 reading halls.

Dislikes

Office staff is not very cooperative placement is also not that good.
Washrooms are very dirty.Most od the doors of washrooms are broken.

Admission:

This college is very famous in our area.it provides High education.well - equipped lab and librarie as well as study space. electives allow students to explore their interest. Availability of research projects and facilities encourage innovation and practice learning. Career counseling and academic help students succeed.

i really like how faculty is helpful. and how each faculty adopts to teaching style in which students understand better.
college consists of many technical and non technical clubs. there are many events held in college
i really like the campus. it has greenery and trees all over the campus

Dislikes

the canteen is always shut down . i really hope they had a canteen in college campus
the management of college sucks . sometimes they dealy in taking decisions about holiday and tell students at 8 in morning
the lift of our college constantly keeps breaking down , which results in having us to climb 5 floors .

Admission:

i gave mhtcet in 2023 and scored 86 percentile. i messed up in counseling process and got allotted MESWCOE in CAP III (mhtcet counselling process) i feel i would have gotten better college. while taking admission do counselling very well

This college is located in the middle of the city and have very well reputation as per the records. This college trust is from 1892 it is one of the oldest college in pune. The campus have 11th ,12th ,BSC ,BBA ,MBA ,BE ,etc. The admission process is fully based on merit list and admission done through the exam conducted by Maharashtra board called MHTCET.

My college and it's pros and cons

Likes

The teaching staff and method is very good.
Infrastructure is good enough and well equipped
Curriculum is good but a bit old as the college follows sppu syllabus

Admission:

I applied for many colleges which include aissms, pes mcoe etc. but I chose wadia coe because of its accessibility because of being present right in the center of the city and near to the place where I live.
