Honest review of Wadia college of engineering by a student studying there

Likes

the faculty is very supportive and they help you at every step
the amenities are very good and good labs are installed

Dislikes

attendance criteria is very strict and penalties are heavy
too many assignments to write and submissions

Placement Experience:

The campus placement drive is very robust however the placcements are still average. The average placement of Wadia college of engineering is 4LPA. The highest package bagged this year was 8LPA. Hence many steps should be taken to improve placements of the college with extra seminars, courses and asisstance for the 4th year students.

The college infrastructure is good there are 4 lifts which both students and teachers and faculty can use. There is wifi in the whole college and there are water coolers.
There is huge parking space for vehicle. Greenary is everywhere in campus. It gives vintage vibe.library and reading hall is also spacious and clean.

Dislikes

Office staff is not very cooperative placement is also not that good.
Washrooms are very dirty.Most od the doors of washrooms are broken.

Placement Experience:

We have placements in our college and they start in sixth semester.There is a training and placement team and on officer in our college who leads the placement drive.The average package in our college is 6 LPA and the highest is 42 LPA

i really like how faculty is helpful. and how each faculty adopts to teaching style in which students understand better.
college consists of many technical and non technical clubs. there are many events held in college

Dislikes

the canteen is always shut down . i really hope they had a canteen in college campus
the management of college sucks . sometimes they dealy in taking decisions about holiday and tell students at 8 in morning

Placement Experience:

our college offers decent placements . this year (2023) only 40 companies visted our college for placements out of them some went with zero placement. the average package is 3.7 lpa which is very low . i would want to pursue masters/mtech rather than taking placement.

Great and Experienced Faculty , Nice Teaching
Good And Large Libraries , large campus.

Placement Experience:

You are eligible for placements from 7th semester which is from 4th year , there are multiple companies visited for placements some of them are Amazon , Cognizant , TCS , Accenture and much more big companies, the highest package offered is about 42 lpa and Bagged is about 35 lpa from clg , and the average package is about 6 to 8 lpa

Talking about placements in the college the recents data of my college placement suggests that the highest packege offeers is 25 lpa and 12lpa is highest package which had been packed The average package is about 4lpa there are yotal 80plus companies visited the college

Our college provide in campus placement where different compact companies visit our college and where interviews taken and placements are allotted as per their interview more than 80 companies visit our college for placement

The facilities are very good. There are water coolers and wifi in whole college.
The labs are also very good and there are very capable professors who teach you very good of you take part in the lectures

Dislikes

The office staff is not cooperative and there are less events.

Placement Experience:

From 6th semester the students are eligible for placement. There is campus placement and there is a whole team for that. Average package was 4 or 6 lacs and highest package offered was 42 lakhs. My plans after doing Be is to pursue masters from Germany or Australia.

I like about my college is the environment.
College is in the middle of the city. very comfertable to go college.

Dislikes

The campus I didn't liked very much. They need to improve the college Campus.
Not good cafeteria and no other good mess is there.

Placement Experience:

The placement department good in the college.So many good companies are coming to the college.compines like cognizant, TCS,capgiminai,and many startup compines are coming college.for IT and CS student there are 60% place student.

My overall experience was awesome. I explored everything in the college.
I liked the support given to me by the faculty members.

Dislikes

Didn't get fast approval to organize any event.

Placement Experience:

In the Final Year, you can apply for placements. The minimum criteria for applying is 70% with no backlogs. There were 50+ offers in 2023 with the highest package of 12L. More than 50% of students were placed in different companies.

Friendly, helpful and supportive teachers.

Dislikes

TPO. Really bad placements. TPO is not supportive and doesn't invite companies in the college.

Placement Experience:

There were a lot of companies that came to the college, students filled out the forms, and aptitudes and interviews never took place at all. Almost 80 companies in total came to the college for all departments but most of them never really conducted the placement process.
