From the third year itself, placement training will start from the college. The college will provide extra classes for placement training. This college has a bond with UST Global. UST will train the students for making them industry-ready employees. UST coaching will start in the third year. Interested students can apply for that, extra fees are required for this coaching. Many MNCs and Indian companies offer jobs to students from this college.
The trade which I'm in is Electronics and Communication Engineering. I chose this so that I can handle both software-related works as well as hardware-related work. Our department has 20 teachers and our class has 33 students. All the faculties hold a Mtech degree and HODs hold a PHD. The teachers hold 10+ years of teaching experience on average. The classes are really effective as they won't provide room for tension. Teachers use power point presentations along with blackboard facilities in order to provide a better understanding of the topics. The curriculum we are following is much more effective to build the basics in our core which would in turn help us to understand the basics of different works in an industry of which we would be a part. The exams are scheduled semester vice. In each semester we would have 2 series of exams which individually covers half of the portions. The exams are not much difficult to pass with the right amount of studies and determination.
From semester 7 we are eligible for placement. We get multiple opportunities for the placement. If we got placed in one company then we cannot attend another company unless the company offers a higher salary than the currently offered salary. We need to fulfill the minimum eligibility criteria for attending the placement according to the company.
I chose this course for my carrier studies. The quality of teaching is good as the professors are highly qualified. The academics majorly focused on practical and project-based learning. The history of placements has been good for this college.
I chose electronics and Communication Engineering course because it will lead to my career.Quality of teaching depends on individual teachers and they are pretty good. We have highly qualified professors to teach us and they are supportive. Curriculum is up-to-date. Yes my course makes me job ready. The faculty includes highly experienced professors with Ph.D. and core-based lecturers. Faculties from highly reputed fields are also there to help the students.Depends on your consistency and hard work. If you are a good student throughout then there is nothing like “hard” in it.
Placements are available for students from the 5th semester onwards. Many MNC such as Infosys, Wipro, TCS and many others visit every year. About 80% of students get placed every year. My plan is to get placed soon or find a job and elevate my career after getting the degree.
A large number of companies conduct placement derived in our college and almost 80% of the students get qualified. Students are eligible to attend the placements held by various companies for 7th semester onwards.
I have to talk about the good remarks than the bad remarks, the good remarks are the college is providing the good life of students, no bad experience in life. The only remark is that the the college have no cellular network properly as well, but Wi-Fi is hi-fi
College management is very poor while considering their attitude towards the extra caricular activities and social life for students. They have only the intention to score marks and ranks, for that management is imposing a very high pressure in students.
