Great college

Course Curriculum Overview :

Many of the faculties in this college hold Ph.D. Teaching faculties are very talented and they consider every student equally. That's the quality I like about this college. Teachers are very supportive in the case of academics. If you have any doubts you can approach them without any hesitation, they are always willing to help. I found that they always help students if they have any innovative ideas for a business or project. I joined MEC in 2019. Many students from my batch started their own startup companies with the help of the IEDC branch at Marian Engineering College.

Internships Opportunities :

I got the opportunity to take an internship from gatik green energy Pvt Ltd with the help of this college. It was a five days internship in Bangalore. It was a great experience to work with the employees in the company, but they didn't provide a stipend.

Placement Experience :

From the third year itself, placement training will start from the college. The college will provide extra classes for placement training. This college has a bond with UST Global. UST will train the students for making them industry-ready employees. UST coaching will start in the third year. Interested students can apply for that, extra fees are required for this coaching. Many MNCs and Indian companies offer jobs to students from this college.

Fees and Financial Aid :

Total fees for four years cost less than 6L. For every year we need to consider approximately 1L for annual fees and extra cash is required for taking internships and workshops. For every workshop, it will cost less than Rs 500.

Campus Life :

In this college, there are a lot of clubs for different activities. For example, the photography club, student welfare committee, NSS, IEEE PES, IEEE SBC, IEDC, Mechatronics club, etc. The annual fest of this college is named as tejasvi. Tejasvi is conducted every year. Our library has all the books related to our syllabus and extra journals for new technology-related topics. High-facility classrooms are available. Large football ground and basketball court is present in this college.

Admission :

I got admission to this college through the NRI quota. I took admission by directly contacting the college admission staff. The admission process was very easy and convenient for me. Staffs in this college is very friendly and they helped me a lot at the time of my admission process.

Mostly the students get prepared for placements in the third year. Placement training is usually started in the mid of the third year. According to the passed out students and our seniors, the institution has enough good placements compared to other private institutions. The students get placed in MNCs like IBM, TCS, Infosys, Accenture, SAP, Wipro, CTS, IBS, UST Global, Government and Public Sector companies like BARC, ONGC, Powergrid, Delhi Metro and commercial banks like Federal Bank, South Indian Bank, Core Engineering companies like MRF, Apollo Tyres, Sobha, Procsys, Kalkitech etc speaks volumes about the professional excellence of students. The major activities of the Placement and Training Cell include coordinating the Campus placement activities of the college Conducting regular training for improving the soft-skills and conducting regular tests, GD`s and Mock Interviews. The major thrust area of the placement cell is training programs. Every student undergoes at least 150 hours of training programs which is spread across the years of study. They are trained by the best in the industry. Career guidance and placement orientation is ensured through sessions organised in-house and support from experts from outside. Guidance on how to prepare for various competitive exams like GATE, CAT, MAT, GRE, UPSC, PG entrance examinations etc. are also provided. Despite the economic uncertainties and industry challenges, the Class of 2024 achieved remarkable success in campus recruitment. A total of 78 students secured packages of 7LPA or more, with 484 offers from 76 companies. The highest package reached 15LPA, while the average package stood at a respectable 5.7LPA. Notable recruiters included TCS, CTS, SAP, Tataelxsi, People10, SOTI, UST, and Qburst. There are many programs to improve our placement capabilities. These programs provide spoken English classes and PMKVY Yojana classes. S6 and S7 students have the opportunity to attend placement sessions. The average package that the companies usually provide is 200,000 per annum. Usually, 10-15 students get placed in the first session, and the rest will be considered in the other upcoming sessions. I'm planning to do ethical hacking course after the degree
