Remarks :

The admission process was really good. There were application forms provided. The admission was done in different categories - merit, management, and NRI. Eligibility was a minimum of 60% for Physics, Chemistry and Maths in 12th.

Course Curriculum Overview :

The course is very innovative and mostly about day to day life products and essentials. Faculties are very nice and provide good coaching in subjects. Exams would be after 1 month interval or regarding the portions. Exams would need 45% to pass and was moderate.

Internships Opportunities :

Internships are done by students on their own wish and they find out places and visit. The college encourages a lot and helps the students. Core companies of each department provide internships to the students and they provide stipends according to the performance of each student.

Placement Experience :

Placements are available for students from the 5th semester onwards. Many MNC such as Infosys, Wipro, TCS and many others visit every year. About 80% of students get placed every year. My plan is to get placed soon or find a job and elevate my career after getting the degree.

Fees and Financial Aid :

Fees are 89000 per year and it was not lowered during the pandemic. That was a con for the students. Scholarships are provided to students from backward castes. Placement is arranged for all the students.

Campus Life :

Life on the campus is really good and it has a very well atmosphere. All fests are conducted according to the academic calendar dates. All the books and other necessary items are available in the college store. Classrooms are well maintained and clean. The library has a variety of books that can be accessed by students. Students are very innovative and they run many groups and activities for leisure time and knowledge gaining.

The placement will be available from 6th semester onwards. Companies in techno park are mostly coming for placement in our collage. The average lpa is 2 and highest is like 10. Around 60% are getting placed. My plans is that for the time being if I get a placement i will for it and study extra with that job

CUSAT Cochin campus- best college life you can get in kerala

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible for placement from semester 6. Many of the largest companies such as Cisco, IBM, Wipro etc come for placements. The largest package was 40 LPA from IT department and average package is 6 LPA. Last year's batch had placement percentage of 90%. My future plans are to try my best for placements, no plans for suture studies as of now.

My College Life at FISAT

Placement Experience:

Mostly the students get prepared for placements in the third year. Placement training is usually started in the mid of the third year. According to the passed out students and our seniors, the institution has enough good placements compared to other private institutions. The students get placed in MNCs like IBM, TCS, Infosys, Accenture, SAP, Wipro, CTS, IBS, UST Global, Government and Public Sector companies like BARC, ONGC, Powergrid, Delhi Metro and commercial banks like Federal Bank, South Indian Bank, Core Engineering companies like MRF, Apollo Tyres, Sobha, Procsys, Kalkitech etc speaks volumes about the professional excellence of students.The major activities of the Placement and Training Cell include coordinating the Campus placement activities of the college Conducting regular training for improving the soft-skills and conducting regular tests, GD`s and Mock Interviews. The major thrust area of the placement cell is training programs. Every student undergoes at least 150 hours of training programs which is spread across the years of study. They are trained by the best in the industry. Career guidance and placement orientation is ensured through sessions organised in-house and support from experts from outside. Guidance on how to prepare for various competitive exams like GATE, CAT, MAT, GRE, UPSC, PG entrance examinations etc. are also provided. Despite the economic uncertainties and industry challenges, the Class of 2024 achieved remarkable success in campus recruitment. A total of 78 students secured packages of 7LPA or more, with 484 offers from 76 companies. The highest package reached 15LPA, while the average package stood at a respectable 5.7LPA. Notable recruiters included TCS, CTS, SAP, Tataelxsi, People10, SOTI, UST, and Qburst. Core companies like Cadence, Schneider, Kalkitech, Procsys, Aarbee Structures, RDC, Saint Gobain, Dalmia, Walkaroo OEN, and Tejas Networks also hired students.
