See what Aksha from BE Automobile Engineering (2017) has to say about the Admission Interview Experience
According to her, “From the 6th semester onwards, students were provided with placement details. The person in charge will provide you with a step-by-step process of what to do. Also, if you have any supply or arrears, the faculty will also update you if any company has come that accepts arrears or supplies. The companies that visited my department were TVS, Hyundai, and Ia.” Read More
KRSCE Placement 2025 FAQs
Ques. Can students from all branches participate in placements?
Ans. All the students across all branches in KSR College of Engineering are eligible to take part in the placement recruitment. The college Training and Placement Cell makes every effort to provide placement opportunities for students from all departments, like Computer Science, Electronics, Mechanical, Electrical, Civil, and others. So long as students qualify according to the selection criteria laid down by the recruiting firms, minimum marks, technical knowledge, or any particular certification, students can participate in the recruitment drives conducted by the college. This is how the college encourages equal opportunities for all streams' students to secure employment.
Ques. Are placement drives held on campus or off-campus?
Ans. Placement drives organised at K.S.R. College of Engineering are mostly held on campus, wherein different noted companies come to the college to recruit students directly. On-campus drives are nicely arranged by the Training and Placement Cell, which gets industry partners in contact with them for smooth recruitment processes. Apart from on-campus drives, the college also persuades students to register for off-campus and pooled campus drives organised along with other institutions. This two-pronged process maximises placement possibilities for students in all departments.
Ques. Do companies offer only full-time jobs, or are internships also included?
Ans. Companies at K.S.R. College of Engineering extend both full-time job opportunities and internships during placement drives. Most organisations prefer to get students involved through internships so that they can evaluate the skills and performance of the candidates and then offer them full-time jobs. Internships are great exposure through hands-on experience and, in many cases, end up in pre-placement offers (PPOs) for meritorious students. This strategy not only provides students with industry experience but also improves their prospects of getting recruited on a full-time basis once they complete their graduation.
