KSRCE Admission Dates 2027

Admissions to KSRCE B.E./B.Tech programmes are governed by TNEA, conducted annually by the Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions body. The 2026-27 session has concluded. The 2027-28 session is expected to follow the schedule below on a tentative basis.

The next cycle (TNEA 2027) is expected to follow the same annual pattern, with applications tentatively opening in April/May 2027 after Tamil Nadu Class 12 board results are declared.

PG and MBA admissions follow a separate calendar governed by TANCET and GATE scores, with counselling typically in June/July each year.

KSRCE Courses and Fees

KSRCE offers over 30 programmes across UG, PG, and doctoral levels. B.E./B.Tech fees for the general quota range from INR 2.00 Lakhs to INR 3.48 Lakhs for the 4-year programme, depending on the branch. PG programme fees range from INR 1.25 Lakhs to INR 1.81 Lakhs for 2-year courses.

Lateral entry B.E./B.Tech is available for diploma holders in branches including CSE, ECE, EEE, Civil, Mechanical, Automobile, and IT, with a 3-year programme at INR 4.31 Lakhs under the general quota. The B.E. AI and Data Science, Biomedical, and Cyber Security branches carry a lower fee structure at INR 2.00 Lakhs under the general quota.

KSRCE Admission Process

KSRCE follows the TNEA (Tamil Nadu Engineering Admissions) process for all B.E./B.Tech UG programmes. There is no separate entrance examination. Admission is based entirely on Class 12 PCM marks and the TNEA merit rank.

B.E./B.Tech Admission

Eligibility requires a pass in 10+2 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Minimum marks vary by category and branch. The selection process follows these stages:

• Class 12 results and TNEA registration (April/May)
• Certificate verification and random number assignment (June)
• TNEA rank list publication (July)
• Choice filling and seat allotment through TNEA counselling (July/August)
• Document verification and admission confirmation at the college

KSRCE’s TNEA counselling code is 2613. The college admits students under Government Quota (65%) and Management Quota (35%) seats. Cutoff for CSE under the Government Quota typically falls in the 195 to 200 marks range (out of 300) for the General Category, based on previous TNEA cycles.

Lateral Entry (B.E./B.Tech)

Diploma holders from DOTE/TNDTE-recognised polytechnics are eligible for direct second-year admission. Admission is through the TNEAOLA lateral entry counselling process conducted separately by Tamil Nadu government.

PG Programmes (M.E., M.Tech, MBA, MCA)

All PG programmes require a valid TANCET score for government quota seats. GATE scores are also accepted for M.E./M.Tech. MBA additionally accepts MAT and CAT scores. The selection for government quota PG seats is handled through TNPG counselling by the Tamil Nadu government.

• M.E./M.Tech: B.E./B.Tech in a relevant discipline with valid TANCET or GATE
• MBA: Any UG degree with a minimum 50% aggregate and valid TANCET/MAT/CAT
• MCA: Any UG degree with Mathematics at 10+2 or UG level, valid TANCET

Ph.D. Admission

KSRCE offers Ph.D. programmes in Engineering disciplines, Computer Science, and Science and Humanities. Candidates with an M.E./M.Tech or M.Sc. in a relevant field are eligible. Admission is through an institutional entrance test and interview, conducted directly by KSRCE.

KSRCE Placements

KSRCE placements for 2025 recorded 769+ offers from 195 companies. The highest package was INR 21 LPA, secured from Juspay Technologies Pvt Ltd. The average package stood at INR 4.7 LPA across all recruited students.

CSE and ECE branches account for the bulk of placements. IT companies form the largest recruiting segment, with manufacturers and core engineering firms also active on campus.

Confirmed recruiters from the 2025 season include Juspay Technologies, KONE Elevator India, ZED Digital, and Virtuospark Technologies. IT service companies and product firms are the dominant hiring categories. Core manufacturing companies also recruit from Mechanical and Automobile Engineering branches.

KSRCE Rankings

KSRCE participates in the NIRF ranking process conducted by the Ministry of Education. In NIRF Engineering Rankings 2025, KSRCE is placed in the 201-300 band nationally among engineering institutions.

KSRCE Campus and Infrastructure

The KSRCE campus is located at Tiruchengode, Namakkal district, Tamil Nadu. The campus hosts multiple academic blocks with dedicated laboratories for each engineering department, a central library with digital resources, and conference and seminar halls.

Sports infrastructure includes an outdoor sports ground, a swimming pool, and a fully equipped gymnasium. A medical centre, a food court, and campus bus transport services are operational. Separate hostel facilities are provided for male and female students, with annual fees of up to INR 60,750 for the men’s hostel and up to INR 57,850 for the women’s hostel.
