I was influenced by our teachers during my school days teacher used to tell that engineer are who are very interactive, smart , in their professional as well as social life . In this more practical experiment should be their with theories it will help understand the concepts more deeply. There are two class test and one end semester exam during the session of 6 months.

Course curriculum is set by the board named Assam science and technology university (ASTU). The structure is set in accordance with the modern teachings and lessons. Although evergreen branches such as mechanical engineering are still following the same old syllabus. This trend of following the same curriculum should be taken into account and have some fruitful changes to make our graduate engineers in the world's race.

The course includes theory and also the practicals that are very helpful. The course also privodes 3internships (social, academic and industrial) in 4years and a project in thelast year. I think these arevery helpful in a student life.

The course curriculum depends according to the different branches of study. While it is comparatively easier for some branches, it gets tid bit complex for some other branches. Whatever the branch be, ultimately none of it is really hard to learn if given proper understanding and strong efforts and practice.

The academics of our college is elite, comparable to many NITs and even some new IITs. Teachers are always ready to help, and are very strict and make sure that the students are disciplined. My course is not that hard, it just requires Problem Solving Skills as we do coding.

I choose this branch because it has a lot of fields that I want to choose as a career in my future. The faculty members are good they take classes regularly. But due to covid our end-semester exams are now being held too frequently and it has been difficult for us now to understand the course contents.

I choose this course because I know alumni of this college who are now in top MNCs and holding good positions in Government and bureaucracy. There are also many entrepreneurs and alumni of this college. The student-to-faculty ratio is quite high. There are Associate professors, Assistant professors and Guest lecturers for every subject. Faculties are highly qualified in their field. They also serve as consultants to MNCs, the Government of Assam and private industries and helps in carrying out critical project like hydro projects infrastructure etc. Strict adherence to time when it comes to conducting exams. Sessionals are carried out in between semesters. Timely exams and proper evaluations are done.
I chose the course of my interest. Faculties are well qualified. The teachings are good there. Internal assessment exams are held 3 times in a semester and a final end-term exam is held. Proper study and hard work can achieve good marks. The pass percentage is average here
