Campus Life:

Various clubs are here in the college like sports, yoga, culture, tech, etc. where students, as well as faculties, actively participate. In the winter every year all the clubs organize their fest. the library is really good here all the latest research-related journals, books, and e-books are available, and a separate study room is there in the library. Library timing - 9.30 a.m. to 10 p.m. Classrooms are fully AC and have enough space for sitting, and smart boards are available in some classes. On the campus a cricket ground and an indoor badminton court and a volley court are available. A T.T. room and gym rooms (male and female separately) are also available. Overall the campus is full of greenery and a peaceful environment is there, perfect for research work.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Courses are designed as per the latest research areas in the industry and maintain Punjab university standards. I choose this course because the research facilities here is one of the best in India and student can get a chance to do their thesis project in CSIR as this college signed MOU with CSIR. The faculty-student ratio here is 1:4 which is good. And all the faculties here are highly qualified and the recruitment of faculty is done as per PU standards. In a semester here we have to give 3 exams, 2 MSTs, and 1 final semester exam. Questions are moderate level and to pass the exam one has to study hard. Questions are in descriptive type no MCQ in any exam.

Campus Life:

The annual fest is held in the month of September. a lot of cultural along with science and innovation activities were held on the campus .participants from different parts of the country arrived and participated. A central library is there On the campus. A variety of books related to different aspects of engineering and science are there. The facility of a digital library is also provided to students. The classroom is very good. the facility of a digital classroom is also provided. Diffent sports activities like football, badminton,volleyball, cricket etc are being held on the regular basis. Different cultural and sports clubs formed to encourage cultural and sports sprit among the youngsters. Dance club, sports club, cultural club and technology clubs are being run by students and the faculty members together.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I choose this course because I wanted to do good research work in the field of power semiconductors. This college has good equipment and helping staff, a green environment, nice playgrounds, a reading room, etc which makes it best for me. Faculty-to-student ratio 1:4. All faculties are having doctoral and postdoctoral qualifications. Three exams were conducted within a semester, two mid-term and one-semester exams. Mid-term exams are conducted within two months and semester exams within six months. The question paper comprises eight standard questions as per PU Standards.

Papers are in descriptive type and one needs to read thoroughly to pass the exam.

The College campus is really beautiful and well-maintained. A cricket ground, volleyball court, and badminton court are on the campus. Sports fest and tech fest are conducted every year. Different clubs are there like Sports Club, cultural club, tech club, and fitness club run by the student and the faculty together. The library is available from 9:30 am to 10:00 PM. Department-wise journals are available in the liability.

The infrastructure is excellent. The classrooms are neat and AC in every class. Food quality is good and prices are reasonable. You will find a huge playground where you can sit, eat, food, specialist sports grounds too. All classrooms have projectors too. There are many more facilities available.
