Institute of engineering management one of the best college in Kolkata.

Dislikes

Location - The Location of The college is very Bad because i have to travel a lot to reach The College
Paying 85,000 per semester without having air-conditioned classrooms is quite disappointing.

The placement of our college is pretty nice and is considered the best among all the private universities of the State of West Bengal. With an average package of 5 lakhs and highest package of 72 lakhs it is ranked among top universities of the Country.

Highly Qualified teachers, Good Infrastructure for Engineering Equipments, Proper Guidance for Career Choices, Good Maintainance of Laboratories
Events and Activities happen very often, Lot of opportunities for innovation and Startup formation

Dislikes

Small Campus, Old Buildings, Classroom doesn't have proper seats in some departments
Microphone provided in every room but not properly maintained, Teachers are sometimes rude and disrespectful (especially in 1st yr)

Placement Experience:

The placement our college offers is pretty nice With an average package of 5lakhs per annum and higesht package of 72 Lakhs our college stands top among the Private Universities of the State of West Bengal

University of engineering and management Kolkata has good placement record
Uem is one of the best engineering colleges in kolkta with big classroom and good faculty

Dislikes

Washrooms were not cleaned properly.
Uem Kolkata campus is too much strict...they always follow their restrictions

???? UEM Kolkata offers good placement. I got placed in Cognizant and in my batch (2023 pass out) cognizant, mindtreeLte, Accenture, Capgemini, Tata Consultancy services, Wipro are the mass hiring companies.

The professors at UEM are highly knowledgeable and use effective teaching methods, which greatly enhances the learning experience.

Dislikes

The lack of air conditioned classrooms makes it uncomfortable, especially for exams during hot summers.
While the campus is generally well maintained, some of the facilities and infrastructure could use significant improvements to better support students.

Placement Experience:

From the 6th sem, placements begin , there are virtual interviews as well as face to face interviews on campus. companies of different sizes with different pay packages visit and go through a rigorous selection process and hire the best.

Behaviour and teaching of the professors is professional yet friendly
The facility provided, yet minimal, is enough for a college student and whatever provided is of good quality

Dislikes

The catering system in college was not upto the minimal quality of food that should be provided.
The hostel system and the timing is inappropreate.

Course Curriculum Overview:

The training methods are industry based and well suited for an it job or for any further government exams. The difficulty level is fair enough for an engineering student. The practise of how companies conduct their hiring and simulations make it to the point overall.

Moreover, the alumni networking is great in this college. Placements are great every year which almost varies from 9-10 lpa avg.
Overall, this is an A+ college the course curriculum, personal development through labs are extremely good for future benefits

Dislikes

This college does not host any good cultural event, moreover there is very less entertainment that happens.
They have a particular college uniform and is very strict with their rules similar to school life

Course Curriculum Overview:

The course curriculum is good. But I would suggest that their are most subjects which are never useful in our life. There are subjects which are beneficial too. The course curriculum could have implemented some subjects related to aptitude and real world problem solving. The exams taken here are very frequent which includes 4 mid semester and 2 semesters in a year with a medium to hard difficulty level.

Campus is small and also internship opportunities are less with average placement package a little less

Placement Experience:

After 3rd year students become eligible for campus placements. The highest package is 16-20lpa with average being around 5lpa. Different companies come with mass recruiters and distinguished companies offering various job position Almost all students are placed bt mtech after btech is also a good option to choose

Discipline curriculum and project and practical oriented classes
Placement support and good infra.Good tech fest and cultural fest. And organise various events like marathon and also has classes for placement preperation.

Dislikes

Campus is small , less facilities for sports and syllabus of univeristy needs to be updated as per current market trends.

Placement Experience:

Its good comparing to other tire 2/3 colleges. I was placed in an IT company with 6.25 lakh package and all my batchmate secured placement as developer or analyst. Highest packages were from big companies like adobe, amazon, lexmark, oracle, delloite. 90% placement record. I have worked in the company I was placed then moved on for MBA.

Placement Opportunities are better than contemporary private colleges
Most of the teachers are well educated on their domain

Dislikes

Congested College Campus. No free space or things like ground where students can sit and relax
No attached sports ground. It is really important to take care of these aspects

From 6th Sem, students become eligible for placements. The college brings some good companies as well as mass recruiters in the campus for placements. Some major companies that come are - Cognizant, TCS, Wipro, Capegemini, Oracle etc. The offerings depend on company to company. Although a majority get selected in mass recruitment companies, some grab really good packages from other companies.

I want to share my personal experience as a student the faculty staffs are very good and helping.
All the labs are very well maintained and there are modern machines.

Dislikes

The college campus is too small there is no playground
Some of the computers are not in working condition.

Placement Experience:

After 6th sem students Are eligible for placements. Companies like google , tcs ,wipro, ibm, amazons ,cognizant, accenture etc vistis our campus tcs hired like 250 students. Highest package is 72 lpa and average package will be 5-6 lpa. 90-100% students are getting placed.my plan is to go for master S. after completion of the Course.
