During my term the college was under KTU and now it's autonomous. Therefore curriculum and it's relevance mosyly depends on the KTU assigned syllabus.Teachers are helpful during the exams and internals are conducted as two exams in one day timeline

Our college is under Kerala technological University but is autonomous. So the curriculum is very nice and relevant. Students feel easy to cover it than other colleges and there will be study leaves before exams and exams are not so tough.

The curriculum is pretty outdated similar to other engineering colleges in India. There are a few valuable clubs where you can learn new industry grade equipments and technologies but academically the course is similar. The college has become autonomous now but my batch is the last batch after which the college became autonomous so for us the exam results are declared quite late and it makes life difficult for students who have supplementary exams.

I chose this course because I was more interested in learning about computer hardware and software. I was more into coding and computer languages. The faculty is very helpful and have a thorough knowledge of the course they teach. First two years they follow the timetable and course syllabus and teach the students properly and complete the course on time. When it comes to the last year teachers are least bothered about the syllabus and they expect us to study most of the portions by ourselves. During covid times we had offline exams where we had to go to the college and appear for the exams there in the college. Study leaves were less during the covid days (last two years of course). Portions were not fully covered for some of the subjects during the pandemic. Classes were online.

I choose this course because of my love for Programming. there are 70 students per division of CSE, there are 3 divisions, a class I again subdivided into 3 under 3 different mentor faculties. There would be a total of 7 teaching faculties for each student. Term exams were comparatively easy and an average student can pass with flying colors.
CSE branch provides great carrier opportunities. So it is one of the best options for students who wish to have a good career. The college curriculum is very sophisticated and provides a basic understanding of the course. All the faculties are highly qualified and experienced with everyone having their post-graduate and PhDs from NITS and IITs. The college conducts two series of exams in a semester with a time gap of two months. The series exams questions are moderate and are easy to pass. The end semester examination is conducted by the University and the question paper is somewhat tough. College has a pass percentage of 60%.
