Course Curriculum Overview :

I choosed the course because i liked the computers.But after joining the college in first year the subjects doesn't include computer.So my grades are very bad.There are too much exams in the college frequently.Thats it.

Class Size : 60Course Fees : INR 35000 per year

Internships Opportunities :

Internships are common in this college lots of tech and it companies come here. German companies also visited here. In the final year you need to make a project of what you learned and based on that you will get your marks

Placement Experience :

After 5th semester the placement starts.Companies will approach the college like ibm, tcs, like that.If they select you will be placed with a average salary.The percentage of students getting placement is very low below 50%.

Loan/ Scholarship Provisions :

the tution fee for one year is 75000 and if score good marks in keam you need to pay small amount of money and i get 10000 off because in plus two i got 91% so the fees get reduced.There is also seats avalable for other castes in lower fees.

Campus Life :

The campus life is good. But there are some strict rules in the college that you need to follow. The library is good and it contains lots of books that you need. Its for free.There are different clubs like GDSC in the college

Hostel Facilities :

The facilities in romm is very basic. The morning food is very bad in the hostel. There are PG rooms near the college. The food menu will change every 3 months, Sometimes they dont change the menu. The timing of morning food is not good

Hostel Fee : INR 40000 per year

Admission :

The admission process in this college is very simple.There are reservation seats availabe in this college.We need to pay the application fees during the admission time.The exams in this college is bit difficult.

Faculty :

The faculties have very much knowledge of what they learned. But they learned old methods of studying so learning new things is difficult. I don't too much interact with teachers. They also don't too much care

NIT Cailcut-The Good,Bad and the Ugly

Placement Experience:

Students can apply for campus placements by the beginning of the 4th year.High paying companies are attracted by the placement cell which offer good packages to the students. The average packages for the circuital branch are pretty high. Each year about 200 companies are invited. The highest package for Electrical and Electronics has gone upto 38LPA with average package of about 14LPA in the graduation year 2024.About 128 students had registered out of which 120 students were placed.The minimum salary offered was 5LPA.

Is engineering here worth it?

Placement Experience:

Students are eligible from 7th semester to sit for interviews. The pod.ai app helps us in making the resume and calculating a cgpa to appear for the intwrviews. The pod.ai registration fees is 500?. Companies such as nissan,infosys,commandtech,bimlabs,gulfasia etc has visited . And the highest package was 11 LPA and lowest was 3 LPA
