What is an honest review of AIT Bangalore?

Students claim that Acharya is known for its stunning infrastructure and great shooting spot. If you look into the academic section, it depends on different departments. The faculty for E&C is not that great compared to CS & IS departments. Other departments like Mechanical, E&E, BT, and Mechatronics are average on teaching scale. The college fee structure and hostel feel is quite high as compared to other private colleges. Higher management is quite friendly, so they will help the students if required. There is scope for extra-curricular activities but not on a large scale. And the most important 'Acharya Habba', a very lavishly celebrated college fest.

For scholarships offered to AIT Bangalores students from EWS/BPL category, the following criteria are mandatory:Applicable to students of Karnataka only.Should be from an EWS or BPL family (relevant documents to be submitted).Should have secured a rank less than 5000 in CET (2024).Applicable to only one merit student per family.

How can NRIs avail scholarships at AIT Bangalore?

NRI candidates who wish to secure admission to Acharya have a unique opportunity to earn scholarships through the Acharya Entrance Test (AET), which assesses students' knowledge in subjects such as Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Biology, Management, and Arts and Commerce. Scholarships will be awarded based on students' performance. Scholarships will be awarded based on the student's performance in the entrance examination. A cut-off score will be decided based on the exam results. The scholarship percentage (e.g., 25%, 50%, 75%) will be based on how well the student performs compared to the cut-off and top-performing students. Only a limited number of scholarships seats are available. The test is online and students can conveniently schedule their slots.

We have expertise faculty which is really great and our the department have associated the great faculties which makes our learning and understanding much more easier as faculty is one of the most important thing in any colleges and for learning it.
Infrastructure is great and our college provides very cool , calming, clean and neat environment and has been awarded as one of the best infrastructure college in banglore which is filled with trees all around .
Our college has been graded A++ NAAC and started digital learning for us to engage more in the leading aspect and for the better development in the teaching department .

Dislikes

The college does not provide much placements for the b pharmacy there are very few placement given by the college as per last few years there are oly 2-3 students to get placed from this college every year which is the big drawback
College does not provide any other internship for b Pharmcy other than the course era by the department which is another drawback as the internship is the main aspect for securing job opportunities and for any better understanding about the course .
College does not provide any other knowledge regarding sessions other than the classes they take and the exams they consider we won't have any knowledge other than the text books and extra knowledge about the course .

Navigating the skies of education: A comprehensive review of the BBA Aviation Program at Acharya College.

The college has an amazing layout, the infrastructures are great, peaceful. We've got an amazing football and cricket stadium, gym, swimming pool, Library, snack zones, vending machines etc.
met people from different parts of the world. for example: sudan, nigeria, nepal, oman, egypt and many more. everyones friendly. i've never felt discriminated or left alone. everyone has their own standards in a good measure.
the college provides industrial visits. they had taken us to the jakkur aerodrome and coca cola factory recently.

Dislikes

The college doesn't have proper power backup. especially during class time. the power goes off which makes the classroom humid like. During summer it was really hectic for the students and faculties.
for some reason there's dogs coming inside the campus building. no harm tho. the floor staffs keep the building neat.
the college lacks in sports. all sports are not given equal chances. especially for football. the students have to manage it themselves. the support from the faculty side is less when it comes to sports.

Placement Experience:

when it comes to placements. the companies like infosys, TCS, Congruent and other companies visit our college to hire students. even amazon, HCL, Honeywell, Deloitte, Wipro have partnered to provide collaborative add-on certifications for specialsied industry skills. They have attained the highest salary package of 65.0 LPA. atleast 85% have been placed. Over 550 companies visit the campus annually.

My College

Likes

College has a great atmosphere with greenery and large campus. The department block is very peaceful and calm.
The teachers are kind and friendly. They support in other exatra curriculums too
The shops near by are very convenient for all the essentials for students

Dislikes

The college timing is from 8:45am which is hard to reach on time given the traffic in the morning
The books and records has to be brought from the management stationary itself
The management is very strict with payment of fees and puts fine for everything

Placement Experience:

Students are allowed to attempt for campus placement from 6th semester. There are many company's which offer the placement drive.The hoghest package is 45lpa and the average is 6-8lpa . The overall percentage of placements is about 80 percent. I am working towards aquring a decent package through placements are completing by degree.

The course is pretty good because 80% of the knowledge you get is practical knowledge and the faculty puts effort into making the students get the concept. The course has juries as exams rather than written exams for all subjects which is pretty good for students. It also offers an opportunity for competition in trophies which is conducted by NASA (Architecture Students Association).

My college experience.

Likes

A large, green campus with a pleasant environment provides a peaceful setting for studying and relaxing
It has numerous sports and events. Hosting one of the biggest college fest in the city.
A big library with a huge variety of books and it will be open until 10pm.

Dislikes

Roads around the college are not in good condition.
The campus has a very small auditorium. especially when it comes to hosting events, performance or lecture.
Young faculty members with less experience, though they have good energy and enthusiasm they might lack the teaching experience

Acharya is known for its stunning infrastructure. If you want to look into the academic section, then the views will be completely different for each department.

Departments:

Information Science and the Computer Science department are some of the best wings in AIT.
CS and IS faculty are better as there is a distinct expose of knowledge if compared to the department of E&C.
Other departments like Mechanical, BT, E&E, Mechatronics are ordinary.
It doesn't matter which branch you will choose. You will only do great if you are truly interested in it.

Faculty:

Expert faculties and most importantly the HOD, who is one of the best personalities you will ever meet in your life.
The higher management is quite helpful as they will assist you in every problem.
In engineering, if you want to learn something, you need to learn it on your own. Faculties will only guide you on the right path.

Fees:

The college fee structure and hostel fees is quite high as compared to other private colleges.

Placement:

Most of the companies recruit students for IT sector from branches like CS and IS.
A very few companies come for core branches but most of the companies allow all the departments for the placement.

Overall, the Acharya Institute of Technology is a potential choice.
