25 June 2025: Carnegie Mellon University has announced key dates for its master’s programs admission. The application portal opens on September 3, 2025, with an Early Decision deadline on November 19, 2025 (3 p.m. EST) and the Final Application deadline on December 10, 2025 (3 p.m. EST). 13 June 2025: Carnegie Mellon University, Pittsburgh, has released the application date for its Master of Computer Science and Masters of Science Robotic Systems (Fall 2026 intake) from September 3 to December 10, 2025 (3 PM EST). Applicants submitting before November 19 (3 PM EST) will be eligible for a reduced application fee. 

14 May 2025: Carnegie Mellon University's Information Networking Institute (INI), part of the College of Engineering, has released the application timelines for Spring and Fall 2026 admissions.

The admission process included marks of GRE and IELTS i.e I got 323 marks in GRE and 8 bands in IELTS. Other things included were Academics of bachelor, SOP, LOR of faculties and other financial documents. I prepared for exams from online platform i.e. GregMat and didn't go for any consultancy for admission.

I had a great experience at Carnegie Mellon University. It was a fun, engaging, and fruitful time. The environment at the university was pretty warm with some chills of winter in Pittsburgh. Learning about different cultures and meeting new people was cherry on top.
