Students become eligible from 7 sem but usually get placed in 8 sem abd also with very low packages in service base companies. average package is 5 lakh snd and highest usually goes to 8 lakh. No internship opportunities are provided to students
Students are given regular knowledge required for placements and the process starts from the 7th semester onwards the faculty is also very helpful in providing the basic knowledge for interviews. Mock placements are also held for the students regularly. Around 70% of the students get placed.
The placement cell is superb. Various top-rank companies like TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Flipkart, and many more got recruited students. In their 7th sem students get Placements with an average package of 3lac to 7 lac.
After completing their 7th semester, students become eligible for campus placements. The highest package is around 12L and the average package is 5.5L. The percentage of students getting placements is 96%. After completing my degree, my plan is to get a job and earn and after that go to Canada for further studies.
From 4th year 7th sem. Many companies visit there. KPMG, Capgemini, Byjus, TCS, Wipro, naggaro, Mahindra, HCl, many students also go off campus. Many are service based and many are product based. 13 Lakhs, 4 LPA, 70 percentage get the job.
GNDU has one of the best on campus placements in Punjab and in India too. Many multinational visit for campus recruitments like Amazon, Naggaro, TCS, Infosys, Capgemini etc. The highest package till now is 12 LPA and the average package is almost 3.5 LPA. Every year almost 88% of students of GNDU get placed. I will also be appearing for a placement drive on the main campus.
GNDU is one of the oldest university of Punjab. The University has risen to 16th rank in the top 50 universities of the country, as per recent survey conducted by 'India Today' and has achieved 11th Position, out of the 500 universities, in Publications in science. The University has also won the North Zone Inter-University Cultural Championship for the 12 times this year. GNDU RC is a government college and also there faculty is good and its close to my home and I don't need to travel to another city or state for my education.
The Academics are good, the extra curricular activities are also good. Also the seniors are very helpful. But also there is a negative remark that there is no boys hostel of the college. But you can find PG easily outside the college
