About Doaba College
Doaba College is a renowned Postgraduate Co-educational Premier College of not just Jalandhar but entire Northern India. With the philanthropic effort of Sh. Bindraban Sondhi, Sh. Jagan Nath Mittal, Rai Bahadur Badri Dass and Acharaya Lajja Vati, the college had been serving the folks of Doaba for the past 73 years. The founders of the Doaba College were distinguished faces of the Arya Samaj as well as Spartan Freedom Fighters who founded the college to infuse ideals of Dharma, teachings of Vedas and Philosophy of Maharshi Dayanand Saraswati in the students.

Admission:
I have passed 10+2 or equivalent from a recognized school or board. Candidates who have passed a diploma with 40% marks from a recognized university or institute are also eligible to apply. To get provisional admission, a registration fee of Rs. 3,000 is required. This fee will be adjusted in the annual course fee. Admission forms include declarations that the applicant will abide by the college and university rules, and that fees paid are non-refundable. Admission is provisional and subject to the production of eligibility and migration certificates from the university or board. If these documents are not produced within 15 days, admission may be canceled.

The admission process is similar to the other college. Firstly required the class 10th and 12th class mark sheet original and according to your percentage you will give the concessions. The admission form will give to the general branch office. The benefits of sc caste students like many scholarships there fess also reduce many more benefits.

When I first went to college was so curious, Then I came in towards the reception. The staff told me to go to the staff room and fill out the admission form. There is no test at doaba college, We get admission whenever we want. He took 250 for the admission form And I filled out the form and deposited the fee at the counter, There was an admission charge of 5000 And for SC cast Admission charges are different The admission process was fine, it was quick, did not have to wait much

To be eligible for this course one has to pass his/her senior secondary school examination from any recognized boards in the country either with Science or Commerce stream. The application form can be taken from the office in the college, it costs Rs 500 to apply There is a need of shifting the whole admission process online so that admissions can be done just from home.

Before admission, I heard a lot about the P.G. Department of CS & I.T. of Doaba college and so I thought of giving it a chance. And I can say that I took a right decision by taking admission in this college. Our department has all the facilities , like the high-tech labs, fully WiFi campus. The staff of my department is the main reason why I would suggest this college to anybody who is seeking for admission in CS & I.T. Department. The admission process is quite simple, you take the form, fill in the details and pay some amount of the fee to the administrative block. I must say that administrative block might drive you crazy sometimes, but that's fine.

Doaba college, jalandhar is a good opportunity for further career prospect. Its infrastructure is in well equipped manner. Number of facilities like library, smart class rooms, labs for all streams, swimming pool, badminton hall, large auditorium, open air theater, hostel for boys and girls, campus cafe, seminar halls and clean and green environment. Admission are started in college from april and till end of august happening. Experienced faculty of college has counsel the new students and listen very carefully their queries. There are lot of scholarships for scholars on the basis of merit, marks and poverty.
