Martin Luther Christian University MLCU Scholarships

Martin Luther Christian University has raised a Scholarship Fund known as MLCUSF (MLCU Scholarship Fund). It is designed to provide financial assistance on a Merit-Means basis to students seeking admission at Martin Luther Christian University. MLCU Scholarships are awarded to students every year on the basis of the below-mentioned terms and conditions.

• Candidate must enroll in a full-time degree or diploma course.
• This scholarship is given to the candidate who must have completed at least one year/semester of the course.
• The candidate must have secured good academic progress and attendance records.
• The number of scholarships is limited to thirty per year with an amount of INR 10,000 Per Scholarship.
• MLCU Committee comprising of faculty and administrators holds all the necessary decision-making powers for all the applications.

MLCU Scholarships

Only freshers who are admitted in the first year of their studies at Martin Luther Christian University are eligible to seek benefits from the NEC (North Eastern Council) Merit Scholarship.

• Applications for renewal are invited from candidates who are permanent residents in the State of Meghalaya studying within or outside the state.
• This scholarship is applicable for students undergoing a Diploma, Degree, post-graduate or registration in M.Phil. / Ph.D courses of any institute recognized by the Government.
• Candidate must carry the relevant documents as prescribed by the University and a PRC Certificate issued from the Deputy Commissioner of the District stating that the candidate is a permanent resident.
• All the applications must be submitted online.
• Submission of the valid Identity Proof is mandatory.
• The total Annual Income of the family should not exceed more than INR 8,00,000.
• Candidate must carry the previous class mark sheets.

Martin Luther Christian University Central Sector Scholarship

The Ministry of Human Resource Development, Department of Higher Education, Government of India issues the Martin Luther Christian University Central Sector Scholarship for students who are permanent residents of Meghalaya. 

• The candidate should be an Indian National.
• The total Annual Income of the family should not exceed more than INR 8,00,000.
• Candidate must have secured above 80% in the relevant stream conducted by MBOSB.
• The renewal of the scholarship is dependent on the promotion to the next class with the student securing 50% or more marks or equivalent Glade Point Avemge in aggregate Jor the two preceding semesters or oI the annual examination.
• Also, renewal is subject to Discipline and Maintenance of 75% attendance.

Martin Luther Christian University Scholarship Scheme for Minority

Martin Luther Christian University Scholarship Scheme for Minority is granted to students who are permanent residents in the state of Meghalaya studying in and outside the State. Martin Luther Christian University Scholarship Scheme for Minority is further divided into three categories as mentioned below:

• Merit-Cum-Means based Scholarships
• Post Matric Scholarship
• Pre-Matric Scholarship

Conditions/Eligibility Criteria for these scholarships are as follows:

• These are central sector schemes awarded to meritorious students of minority communities that includes Muslims, Christians, Sikhs, Buddhists, Zoroastrians (Parsis) and Jains. 
• The applications should be submitted online. 
• Candidates who have secured not less than 50% marks or equivalent in the previous final examination are eligible for this scholarship. 
• The total Annual Income of the family should not exceed more than INR 2,50,000, INR 2,00,000 and INR 1,00,000 for Merit-Cum-Means Scholarships, Post Matric Scholarships and Pre-Matric Scholarships respectively. 

Martin Luther Christian University AICTE-Pragati & Saksham Scholarship 

Students who are permanent residents in the state of Meghalaya are eligible for the Martin Luther Christian University AICTE-Pragati & Saksham Scholarship. 

• The AICTE - Pragati Scholarship is for two Girl Children per family whereas the AICTE Sakshamis for Specially Abled Students having disabilities of not less than 40% are eligible.
• The total Annual Income of the family should not exceed more than INR 8,00,000.
• Submission of a valid income certificate by the Competent Authority is mandatory.
• Candidates can renew the scholarship by seeking a receipt of renewal application through the National Scholarship Portal and by submitting a promotion certificate issued by the Head of the institution thereafter. 

Martin Luther Christian University Government Of Meghalaya Scholarships
