Internships Opportunities:
The internship opportunities are dependending on the department and field of study. The Head of Department decide and arrange the field of companies the department should go. For our department, we had to go the refuge camp or slams areas or organisation or rehabilitation centre and assist them and do interview with them and collect data and functions of the their mission. This enables us to understand the condition of the victims and also the problems and functions of the organisation or companies to execute their goals and mission.
Likes
- The course that I have chosen. It is different from the rest and it has made a good impression for my future.
- The availability of libraries, canteens, lounge for students to visit and work is another aspect that I liked.
Dislikes
- The routine or schedule of classes is an area to work on
Internships Opportunities:
With regards to opportunities, the university collaborates with schools, hospitals and other centres which provides excellent experience for students in their respective fields which also boosts students confidence in their abilities.
Likes
- I like the faculties. They are always ready to help us. Their teaching is also clear and understandable. I also like the Aurora and the Convocation the way it used to be hosted and organized.
- I also like the fact that there’s an active Student Council, Deans and Influencer which indeed makes the University more lively and interesting.
Dislikes
- Honestly, I would like if the University has more open campus.
- That there is two campus. No grab and Umsauli. We did it get to see and know each other as we are in different campus.
Internships Opportunities:
We got the opportunity to work in different schools and colleges in Shillong. We are guided by the department faculty and the career counselor. We actually did not pay for our internship nor we get any payment from our internship.

- People are good here and friendly to each other.
- The campus has almost all the department.

- Some department look down on each others department.
- The campus has no proper to seat around .

The internship opportunity is availed to each students, we get to go to schools for our intern, seminars are conducted to give more knowledge to the students, we are given such trainings and then gives us opportunity to give workshop to junior students too .

Internships Opportunities:
It was good experience and learning during my internship I have got to work with Blind Lead Trust organization, urban mission, LEADS organization. The project is Access to clean energy is crucial for sustainable development, environmental preservation, and poverty alleviation,improve access to clean energy include expanding renewable energy infrastructure, investing in energy efficiency measures, promoting clean cooking
Likes
- The course papers available for the students.
- The campus life. The faculty have pretty much made the environment as such that the students and faculty have a very good relationship with each other.
Dislikes
- The infrastructure. Sometimes when the entire university students have to gather the campus becomes a little too suffocating due to the lack of space and accommodation.
- Due to covid situation, my batch could not really get to experience the external life of the university which can be seen as a set back in our relationship of students-student life.
Internships Opportunities:
Inters hip opportunities were excellent. We were given the liberty to choose our destination. We had very limited options due to the covid situation but I'm sure there will be plentiful opportunities and options in the coming days because the university is open for students' growth and development.
Placement Experience:
There are several companies that visit the campus throughout the year to hire students who match their preferences. I am in my final year and I'm looking forward to getting placed at a renowned company that offers an alluring package.

As I'm pursuing MBA from this university but according to their prospectus and after dicussing with senior I got to know that the university schedules placement mainly on Saturdays. Corporates, NGOs, Govt.set ups, pvt firms, etc come here for hiring students.
Placement Experience:
Since this is a technical level field, the job opportunities that open up after graduation are fairly huge. There aren't any placements on campus but we can easily land jobs with the training that we get during the course itself.

Many job opportunities are available after the completion of this degree.There isn't any placement wing in the college per se but we had to complete mandatory internships which provided us with good work experience.
