Eligibility Criteria
Aspirants seeking admission to the Program should meet the following criteria as
Academic Requirement:
- Passed 10+2 examination with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with one of the following subjects namely Chemistry / Biotechnology / Biology / Technical Vocational subject. Obtained at least 45% marks and 40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category( Maharashtra Domicile only) in the above subjects taken together. or Passed Diploma (in Engineering and Technology) examination with at least 45% marks and 40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category( Maharashtra Domicile only). or Passed 10 + 2-year full-time vocational education course offered by MSBVE as per GR – VOC – 2012/591/25A/dtd.
- Obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category( Maharashtra Domicile only), in case of reserved categories and Persons with Disability candidates belonging to Maharashtra State only) in the above subjects taken together. and
- If a student has not appeared for any state / national level entrance exam for admission to B.Tech. In the program, he/she is required to appear for the entrance test conducted by the respective engineering schools of SSPU.
Entrance Exam:
JEE/MHT CET/any state-level entrance test score/PERA/SAT//Common University Entrance Test (CUET) scores/Symbiosis Engineering Entrance Test.
NRI / International Students:

NRI / International Students – A candidate who has completed XII (10+2) or equivalent examination from any Foreign Board must obtain an equivalent certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU). All foreign qualifications need to be verified by the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) by the candidate before seeking provisional admission to any program of Symbiosis Skills & Professional University. In order to promote International understanding between Indian and Foreign students, SSPU has reserved 5% seats for NRIs/International students in every division.

I reason I chose Mechatronics was that it is an emerging field in technology. Also, it is an amalgamation of various engineering disciplines providing a wider array of knowledge. The faculty at SSPU does a very good job of teaching us this course. About 95% teachers here have a doctorate. There are 3 unit tests and one Final Exam conducted every semester whose difficulty ranges from medium to quite difficult

Certainly, I'm interested in Mechatronics and this is the reason I chose this course. Qualified and experienced faculties are good in their domains and guide wisely. Term exams are usually held each month as unit tests and end sem exam is at the end of the semester.

Symbiosis is a life in itself which lets us nurture our future. Secondly the curriculum, SSPU follows a 70% practical and 30% theoretical pattern which makes its course much more practical in nature. The university takes the educational mission to heart and guides us on the path toward entry into the industry through dedicated pre-placement training and interdisciplinary training in all the semesters. The third thing is the faculty. The staff here is prudent, supportive and subservient, meaning they try to have a conversation instead of just teaching. Lastly, the demand internship.

In theories, we have 72 students and 1 faculty and in practical we have 30 students and 2 faculties. Here sometimes we face difficulties understand theory parts as there are 72 students and 1 faculty. Here all the faculties are either M-Tech or Ph.D. Some of the faculties have great teaching method which is easy to understand and easy to apply while practical. we also have guest lectures by industrial experts twice or thrice a month. we have 2 semesters we have 3 unit tests per semester, continuous assignments are given and 1 term-end.papers are easy if we have studied what faculties have thought in sessions.

This course is the most updated course currently anyone can apply for when it comes to engineering, the curriculum & academics focus more on practical, hands on experience which is provided to the students for development of skills & actual knowledge rather than just learning the theory part.

The syllabus is good. Subjects taught have more focus towards industrial technologies, and requirements. The pattern here consists of submitting a project at the end of every semester for each subject. In this project work, we as students gain experience of dealing with real-time problems that can occur in industries. This benefits us.
