- DY Patil International University Admission to its BTech, BBA, BCA, and Integrated BTech+MTech programs is based on MH-CET / JEE / PERA CET / CUET or any other equivalent competitive exams / DYPIU Entrance Test, followed by a Personal Interaction.
- BAJMC admissions are based on personal interview, and BDes admissions are done based on NID-DAT / UCEED and any other equivalent competitive examination, followed by a Personal Interview conducted by the School of Design Faculty at DYPIU.
- DYPIU BFA admissions require a valid score in MAH AAC CET (Maharashtra Applied Arts and Crafts Common Entrance Test) or any other equivalent competitive examination and a valid score in Personal Interview conducted by the School of Design Faculty at DYPIU.
- For DY Patil International University Course Admissions to PG and Integrated PhD courses, candidates must have a valid score in MH-CET / GATE / PERA CET / CUET / or any other equivalent competitive exams / DYPIU Entrance Test and a good score in Personal Interaction.
- PhD admissions are based on the PhD Entrance Test and a personal interview. However, UGC-NET/GATE/JRF qualified candidates are exempted from the test.
DY Patil International University Admission Process 2025:
The following steps are followed for DY Patil International University Course Admissions:
Step 01: Register online on the DYPIU website - dypiu.ac.in/lp/application. The registration process begins with OTP verification of the Phone number. After successful verification, the candidate proceeds to complete the application form.
Step 02: Upload all the original documents (10th, 12th, Graduation (for PG course), Caste Certificate, Entrance Scorecard, Bonafide, Kashmiri migrants/non-migrants, TC/ Migration of last school/ College/ University) for verification purposes while filling the application form with the requisite details.
Step 03: Submit the application form and pay the fee of Rs. 1000/- (Non- Non-Refundable) online.
Step 04: Appear for DYPIU Entrance Test/ Personal Interview (Candidates taking any state/national-level entrance test are exempted from DYPIU Entrance Test)
Step 05: An offer Letter is issued to the selected candidates based on the merit of the entrance test and personal interview for admission in the opted program. The candidate can accept the offer letter through a link provided in the offer letter or by logging in to their account.
Step 06: The candidate needs to deposit the requisite fee as per the schedule mentioned in the offer letter. A provisional admission letter is issued with detailed information to complete the admission process.
Step 07: Further, for ERP registration, candidates must download the COLLPOLL app of the UMS (University Management System) portal on their mobiles and log in with the credentials given in the admission confirmation letter. They must fill out the ERP form, upload the required documents and note the UMS Registration Number (URN) for future reference.
Step 08: After completion of the above process, the candidate will be issued a provisional admission letter confirming the seat in the respective program of the University. However, admission will be confirmed only after verification of the related documents at the university campus.

D) DY Patil International University PhD Financial Assistance
- All those candidates admitted as full-time PhD students will be eligible for financial support in the form of Teaching Assistantships (TA)/Research Assistantships (RA).
- The assistantship is INR 31,000 per month till the end of the semester when the candidate clears the qualifying examination and completes the coursework, whichever is later.
- For the subsequent period, the assistantship gets revised to Rs. 40,000/- per month.
- A candidate can avail of the assistantship for a maximum duration of four years after passing the qualifying examination or clearing of Synopsis, whichever is earlier.
