ADYPU Admission Dates 2026

Admissions for the 2026-27 academic session at ADYPU are anchored by national and state entrance exams as well as the university’s own ACET (ADYPU Common Entrance Test). B.Tech admissions rely on JEE Main 2026, MHT CET 2026, and ACET. ADYPU conducts ACET in multiple rounds through the year, so applications for remaining seats in most UG programmes may remain open beyond the primary counselling window.

MBA admissions for the 2026-28 batch have concluded. The next MBA cycle (2027-29) will be anchored by CAT 2026, scheduled for November 2026. Applications for that cycle are expected to open in early 2027, following CAT score release.

ADYPU Courses and Fees

ADYPU offers more than 100 programmes across 12 schools at UG, PG, integrated, and doctoral levels. Fee bands vary substantially by school and specialisation, with Technology and Design programmes carrying a higher fee than core sciences and commerce programmes.

ADYPU is among the few private universities in Maharashtra to offer B.Tech in Avionics Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, and Defence Technology. Dual-degree B.Tech plus M.Tech tracks are available in Aerospace Engineering and Defence Technology, with combined fees of INR 17.95 Lakhs. The B.Des in Transportation Design is the highest-fee programme at INR 24.40 Lakhs for the 4-year duration.

ADYPU Admission Process

ADYPU follows a multi-stream admission model combining national entrance exams, state-level tests, and its own ACET. Selection for most programmes is merit-based on exam scores, without a separate group discussion stage. B.Des is the exception and requires a two-stage aptitude and studio assessment.

B.Tech Admission

Eligibility for B.Tech is 10+2 with at least 45% marks in PCM (Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics) from a recognised board.

• Entrance exams: JEE Main, MHT CET, or ACET. Any one valid score is accepted.
• Selection: Merit list drawn on exam score rank, subject to minimum eligibility.
• Counselling: Document submission, seat allocation, and fee payment at the admissions portal or on campus.
• Lateral entry: Available for diploma holders with 45% marks. Accepted through MHTCET Diploma score or ACET lateral test. Lateral B.Tech fees range from INR 4.84 Lakhs (core branches) to INR 9.34 Lakhs (AI, CS, Cyber Security).

MHT CET closing percentile for high-demand specialisations like Computer Engineering and AI has historically been in the 85 to 95 percentile range. Core branches like Civil, Mechanical, and Automobile Engineering admit students from a wider score band, making them accessible to candidates with moderate entrance scores.

MBA Admission

Eligibility for MBA is graduation in any discipline with a minimum 50% aggregate from a recognised university. Final-year students may apply provisionally, subject to clearing the degree before admission confirmation.

• Entrance exams accepted: CAT, XAT, CMAT, MAT, ATMA, MAH-CET, or ACET.
• Selection: Short-listing based on entrance score, followed by a group activity and personal interview at the ADYPU campus.
• Work experience is not mandatory but is considered during the selection process.

The integrated 5-year MBA is open to students from Class XII with a minimum 45% aggregate and is admissible through ACET. Total fees for the integrated MBA are INR 11.95 Lakhs for the full 5-year duration.

B.Des Admission

B.Des eligibility is 10+2 in any stream with a minimum 45% aggregate. Admission involves two stages: the ADAT (ADYPU Design Aptitude Test) and a Studio Test conducted at the university campus. Candidates are assessed on design thinking, sketching ability, and spatial awareness at the studio stage.

Other UG Programmes

BBA and BCA admissions are merit-based through ACET or MHT CET, with eligibility of 10+2 with 45%. B.Arch requires NATA or JEE Paper 2 scores, with 10+2 PCM and 50% marks. BA LLB and BBA LLB are 5-year integrated programmes admitting through CLAT, MH-CET Law, or ACET. B.Sc Allied Health Science programmes (Anesthesia Technology, Cardio Vascular Technology, Medical Lab Technology, Respiratory Technology) require 10+2 PCB with 45%. Film and media, hospitality, and liberal arts programmes admit through ACET and board merit.

ADYPU Placements

ADYPU campus placements span Technology, Consulting, Aerospace, Automotive, BFSI, Design, and Healthcare sectors. Recruiters visit across the Schools of Engineering and Management, with Design and Film school students pursuing specialised placements through industry tie-ups and internship-to-hire conversions.

Top offers from graduating batches have reached INR 13 to 14 LPA. The university reported a placement event where 312 job offers were made to women students in a single day, an achievement recognised by the India Book of Records. More than 775 hours of pre-placement training were delivered to over 2,900 students in the reported placement cycle. ADYPU Scholarships

ADYPU offers merit-based and category-based scholarships to incoming students. Scholarship amounts range from 20 to 50 percent of the annual tuition fee. Eligibility is assessed at the time of admission based on Class XII board scores, entrance exam performance, and, for need-based awards, declared family income.

Students seeking merit scholarships should submit their application along with Class XII mark sheets at the time of admission counselling. The scholarship is typically applied from the first academic year. Continuation of the scholarship in subsequent years is subject to minimum academic performance requirements as communicated at admission.

ADYPU Campus and Infrastructure

ADYPU occupies a 100-acre campus at D Y Patil Knowledge City, Charholi Bk., via Lohegaon, Pune 411081. The location is close to the Pune International Airport and well-connected by road to the main city. Each of the 12 schools operates from a dedicated building with discipline-specific laboratories and studios.

Key infrastructure includes aeronautical and avionics laboratories, robotics and automation labs, a film production studio, a legal aid clinic, a design innovation studio certified for design thinking methodology, and the ADYPU Centre for Entrepreneurship and Innovation that supports student startups.
