IIIT NR offers admission to UG, PG, and PhD programs across different specializations. Admission to various UG, PG, and PhD programs at IIIT NR is based on scores obtained in the required test or fulfilling the eligibility, followed by a personal interview if required. Ques: When will the admissions for IIIT Naya Raipur begin?
Ans: Admissions of the IIIT Naya Raipur differs from program to program. B.Tech admissions is done via JoSAA and is expected to start from June or July 2025 after JEE Main results, M.Tech admissions will start after the GATE 2025.
Ques: Is 75 percent necessary for admission to IIIT Naya Raipur?
Ans. The admission in IIIT NR depends on:
- Chhattisgarh Quota: Candidates applying from Chhattisgarh, needs to pass 10+2 with at least 50% marks in PCM and 45% for SC and ST.
- All India Quota: Candidates applying from other than Chhattisgarh must either get least 75% in 10+2 exams and 65% for SC and ST.
Ques: Is there any spot round for IIIT New Raipur as it is GFTI?
Ans. IIIT Naya Raipur does a spot round every year if there are seats left after counseling. Currently, IIIT NR do it every year, so they might do it this year too.
Ques: Can we upgrade from ECE to CSE in IIIT Naya Raipur?
Ans. Students at IIIT-Naya Raipurcan change their branch after the first year. This depends on the number of empty seats in ECE and CSE. Currently both of the branches have 60 seats and it there are branch shifting happens, students from each branch can get the chance. You need a very high CGPA, usually above 9.5.
