The senior here are the best they helped us in every situations.
The teaching methodology followed by the faculty here is very good.

Dislikes

I hate the 75% compulsary attendance rule , which is not waived off for any reason no matter what the reason is.
I hate the fact that there is a shortage of classrooms and hostel accomodation for newer students.

Pros and cons of my college

Likes

Hostel life is best as per how i have imagined my college would be.
The students have come all across the India which is quite good.

Dislikes

The mess food i don't like and i rarely eat there.
Main city nagpur is 25 km far that means you can just travel once in a week.

Placement Experience:

As I am just the first year student i am not that much bothered for the placement because the statastics are inceasing year by year which is what I wanted and am hoping that it goes on like this for next many years as well. I think I want to do masters as well.

Must See Before Opting for IIIT Nagpur

First thing that I liked about the college is that it has great fests line Tantrafiesta (Tech fest) , Abhivyakti (cultural fest), etc.
Students in this college are crazy for coding which would help you a lot in paving your path for technical jobs.

Dislikes

College does not provide hostel to all students so some students has to live outside the campus.
You will have to learn DSA with C language and not C++

Placement Experience:

Placements in this college are pretty decent. As a fresher I myself dont know much about the opportunities yet, but as of what I read in the placement brochure of the college, it provide great placement opportunities to students of both CSE and ECE and placements for ECE sometimes reach greater than CSE itself. Compamies like Google, Microsoft, Amazon visits for internship opportunities and other compamies like Wipro, TCS, Infosys visits for placement drive

Placements are decent if you work hard for it.
There are opportunities available in various extracurricular fields.

Dislikes

There is no proper connectivity. It's almost like we live in a forest.
Infrastructure is poor. There are only 4 buildings in 100 acre college.

Placement Experience:

Placements are good. But they're declining so much. I guess students become eligible for placements from rth year. As far as I know highest package was 98 lpa but it was off campus. Highest on campus package was around 40 lpa. Percentage of students getting places is less than 40%. I'm going to try off campus. I heard a stat that this year only one student out of 68 who applied for infosys is placed.

Likes

I like the coding culture and the study atmosphere in the college
I also like the student clubs which enhance the ability of students.

Dislikes

The campus is still under construction it takes time to be build
The college life in the college is not upto the mark

Placement Experience:

7th years students probably get eligible for the internship programs. There are many companies visiting the college some of them are Nvidia,Tcs,wipro, google, amazon etc. qlmost 90 percent of the students get placed in the college placements

Likes

I liked the hostel food they provide i liked especially the daal and chaw here in the mess
I like the area of the hostel which is so far than the main city disturbance

Dislikes

I dislike the most the ratio of boy girl here
I dislike the campus area because it is 100 acres but building is only in the 35 acre of area

Placement Experience:

Placements of the college are hood enough as all of the people are currently getting an average package of 12 lakhs per annum and it is continuously incrasing year by year and till our time comes i suppose it becomes of like more than 16 or 18 lpa

I liked the classroom facility like ac and wifi avaibility
The college fest are also good namend tantrafesta and abhivyakti

Dislikes

The college is not having a good campus there is only grenery.
Food quality is also. Not soo good they are continuously following the same menu from 8 months

Placement are good but when there are only two branches ece and cse there placement stats are given on iiitn website you can check there.after 8 th semester student are eligible for placement highest package is 90lpa that is off campus.

Likes

The curriculum is beneficial and avoids unnecessary subjects
Professors are very friendly and helpful

Dislikes

Mess food is not very good though this problem is very common
The climate is harsh and quite unbearable

Placement Experience:

Students can get placements from the 3rd year. There are some good companies that have come to our college some of them being amazon, Adobe, Goldman Sachs. The highest placements gave been good, and the highest offcampus are very good

The campus area is were large and its greeny
Class rooms are very good ac's are installed

Mess food is not much good and breakfast got over before time
Hostel rooms for first year is on first come first serve

In iiit nagpur college placement percentage achieved in 2023 is 82.89% and the highest package goes to 86 lakhs and average goes to 14 lakhs and this placement percentage is increasing from past year .

Good Coding Culture in the campus. There are also some contests conducted in the campus by the student groups
Friendly Environment with faculty and friends. Making memories in the hostel

Dislikes

Infrastructure is average. As the campus is built few years ago.
Less Greenery in the Campus. Plantations are going on in few areas.

Placement Experience:

Placements are going average till now as there is a recession in the market. The highest Package is around 86lpa. The average and median of CSE is 13.76lpa and 12.00lpa. The average and median of ECE is 13.15lpa and 11.00lpa. CSE with 82% placements and ECE with 75% placements.

Likes

Classes timings are good and so much hectic students get enough time for preparation for exams and tests
Meals are quite good we get Fourier times meal in a day

Dislikes

Sports facilities are very poor we not get the proper pitch for playing
Campus area is not so big we have only 4 building in our whole campus

Placement Experience:

Placement is very impressive as our college is not old sa other colleges. 6 or 7 semester students get placed or got placement if they are eligible. Company that visited in our college are Amazon, Flipkart,Tata,etc
