The course curriculum is one of the best among colleges under the affiliation of Panjab University Chandigarh, which is one of the best universities in India.
The college does not provide any internships, but they do have some sponsored internships for elite students. If you are highly good in academics, they will try to provide an internship to a company where you can polish your skills.

Dislikes

You must attend all the boring lectures to maintain your attendance above 75%.
The placement for the CSE and ECE branches is average, but for civil and mechanical, the placement is very bad.

Students of 7th semester is eligible for placements and this college offer a good average package of 6-7 lacs PA. There is a good placement rate in the campus placement the CSE branch have a placement record of 80 percent to 90 percent. ECE also have a similar placement rate. Placement Experience:

The placements in our college are quite good for my branch ( CSE ) but the mechanical and civil placement rate is very low only a few students sit for placement and are placed. Approx 80% of students placed in CSE, 70% in ECE, and 40% and 20% in mechanical and civil respectively. My plan is to go for a master's whether in india or abroad along with a part-time job.

This college as a very affordable fee structure. Faculity members are very supportive of the students.
Our college several clubs that provides students with exposure outside of the college and have them grow their talents.

Dislikes

Placements in civil branch is not up to the mark.
The administration is very slow and not supportive of the students especially the hostel have a lot of problems.

Placement Experience:

Placements of this college are pretty decent. Almost 80% of students in CS and ECE branch are placed every year. 40% of students are mechanical branch get placed. Placement in civil is almost non existent. Average package of colleges around 7.89 lakh per year

Academic fees is very less as compared to other govt institutes in Chandigarh or in other big cities.
If you have got CSE in this college through your jee mains rank then you have big opportunities to crack and also there are a lot of internships provided by the college.

Dislikes

As a hosteller, I can say that the condition is not too good. You'll enjoy hostel life a lot but the hygiene is not very well maintained
There are some teachers in the college that are selfish. You'll not get marks from them easily.

Placement Experience:

I will only talk about computer science engineering and electronics engineering branch placements because other branches get some placements but not very good as compared to these two branches if you are a CSE student in this college then the average package for CSC is 8 to 10 lakhs and if you have some other skills the placement will be very good recently. Recently the highest package of a colleges 32 lakhs this was in campus placement the of compass placement is around 1.2 crore internationally if you are an electronic student here then there is packages 7 to 8 lacs it totally depends on your skills and your extra curricular activities that will help you to get a good placement from this college also there are many internships summer paid summer unpaid internship that are provided by the college in which you can apply and boshe your skills.

Its a government college, which is better than any other private institutions
Widely renowned in India as well as overseas due to Punjab University

Dislikes

Very less strictness is there. Quality of teaching is very poor
Limited extra curricular activities despite being such huge campus

The placements of the college are not on the higher side. Its 5 lac ctc However if we compare with the ROI on the fees paid, then you will recover your fees paid in just one year Highest package can be anywhgere around 25lac depending upon the individual

The college clubs are very active, especially the photography club.
CCET college fest, Apratim, was fantastic! It happened for two days and had so many fun competitions and events

Dislikes

The college canteen should be open regularly.
More numbers of working equipment should be available in the labs.

Placement Experience:

Placements start from the 7th semester. Placement prospects are good for the CSE and ECE branches; almost all students get placed, except for a few who choose to pursue higher studies. Companies like Infosys, TT Consultants, CopperpodIp, Zscaler, Jungleworks, Sagacious, Block 8, Gemini, Utrade, icuerious, chicmic, Biz Infotech, Incture, and many more come for placements. The highest package was offered by Knocial Group, which was 10.20 LPA for the role of Graduate Software Engineer (GSE), while the average package was 5 LPA.

course that is being taught is just same as IITs follow so the content we get is also cool

the campus is small in size but new wing are in development phase
The faculty is very strict when it comes to the assignment.

The Social Life: Being an active part of the Dramatics club- Draamebaaz, i made a lot of new friends collecting once in a lifetime experiences and memories. It has been really fun to be a part of it.
The Location of the College: CCET is in Sec 26 which is at walking distance from various restaurants in 26 and Sukhna Lake and at 5 minutes drive from Elante and Sec 8. So, there are multiple things to do in your free time and relax once in a while.

Dislikes

The Campus: The CCET Campus was under construction during most of our tenure. So that was a downside; but the location made up for this.
The Curriculum: The curriculum can be a little hectic (especially 4th and 6th semesters in CSE)

Placement Experience:

The placements are maximum for the CSE and ECE students. Around 50-60 companies visit the campus for placements. The placement process starts in the 7th Semester. I am a CSE student so I will share my experience accordingly. The companies first organize an Aptitude test followed by Technical rounds followed by personal interviews. For CSE, the placement percentage is 80-90% with an average pack of 6 LPA. It is comparatively easy for computer engineers to land a job in CCET with an average package.
