There are 4 branches in the B.E program: Civil, Mechanical, CSE and ECE. The faculty members are very helpful, and all the teachers make significant efforts to ensure the completion of the syllabus. During 3rd year, students are required to submit one minor project, and in the 7th semester, one major project. In the 8th semester, students are engaged in industrial training.

The CSE stream is nice. The faculty is also very good and highly educated. in our CSE department, 10 teachers teach different subjects during the whole course. We have floors for each department. The class strength is almost 70 and teachers are good with the students. The burden on CSE students is as usual like in every college. The curriculum we follow is much similar to the IITs. Exams are moderate level, there are 2 sessionals(optional highest marks in either is considered) and then final exams.

The teachers here mostly have their Master's and Phds in their field of expertise. The only con here is that the number of opportunities here are limited. CCET (Degree Wing) is affiliated to Panjab University so it follows the same curriculum as UIET, PU. The term exams were on time and were of average difficulty. You can score well if enough effort is put into it.
