- Campus is too good and open. There are many cafes inside campus
- Hygiene: The cleaning team works continue during university hours thats why campus is very clean
Faculty:
Faculty is bery friendly with students. Students can ask questions and clear their doubts during lectures. Professors provide study materials after lecture. Faculty members guides us each and every time
Likes
- Faculty are very helpfull. They help everyone students
- I am the member of NSS club . They do selection for member of nss and at last interview.
Dislikes
- Fest in the clg and freshers party should be improved.
- Don't get the college vibe in the college feel like school
Faculty:
Before semester 1st they have two MST exams. Exams are average and if students works genuinely can score good marks. We can take help from faculty one day before the exam also. Teacher will explain instructions very clearly before the exam

- Infrastructure is nice, accessible through elevators and escalators
- The canteen is good . The food here is healthy and delicious.The best thing is that, the food is made with hygiene. The staff is also very cooperative. The ambience is also great .
Dislikes
- There is too fighting inside the campus,.
- Some of faculty from southern part of India are racist towards students..
Faculty:
The faculty of southern part of India are racist af. The language barrier is huge between students and southern faculty. Thus there lecture are hard to comprehend. The faculty from northern part are quite cool and there lecture are easy to understand.
Likes
- Infrastructure is fine. University has multiple elevators and escalators for easy access through all the floors
- Library has abundant of books and resources available.
Dislikes
- Fight breakouts are quite common and police is involved mostly too.
- Faculty is half south-indian and half north-indian. Faculty from southern parts are quite difficult to understand as they're a bit racist
Faculty:
Faculty is fine for the most part. Faculty for main subjects like DSA, DBMS, Java and etc are abundant. But for subjects like french and German faculty is not available at all the times. Most of the faculty from southern parts of India are not very friendly, they're kindof racist towards students. They have the sense of superiority over students. The language barrier is quite a handful too as they have their own mother tongue and accent which makes lectures hard to comprehend. The faculty of northern parts is pretty cool with students. Their lectures are easy to understand. There are 3 exams every semester, two of which are mid sem tests which are covered of 3 days including 5-6 subjects(two exams a day). Then there are semester finals which are conducted of 100 marks which is then converted to 60 marks, excluding 40 marks of internal assessments.

- One thing i like about college environment, senior are always help you in like project or other things like what need in hostels
- Second thing is i like college always organize sports activates, tournaments
Dislikes
- One thing i don't like is college placements
- some teachers dont have good knowlege about subject
Faculty:
* Faculty to student ratio is 20% faculty to 80% students * One of supporting teacher is Amit Malik Computer Networking teacher, so kind and always help to students * other teacher is PD teacher ganesh sir, most helpful and so kind person they talk with you like friend * Then kunal gagneja sir, he is java teacher.

- Infrastructure of college is good and have different sections
- Seniors are very friendly towards freshers

- Network problem is very Common in whole campus
- Lift is not working properly but floor is in good condition
Faculty:
Our faculty was very helpful and very positive which course I am doing. It's not so expensive. I am doing Bca and his fee structure is 1,11,000 per year. also the exam system was not so difficult, very simple and exam was held in proper way
Faculty:
The student to faculty ratio at SRM Institute of Science and Technology is 1:22 across the institution.SRMIST is a top ranked university in india with over 52,000 full-time students and more than 3,200 faculty members across in campuses

- The curiculum is great and the environment too
- Highly disciplined and rules are strict.
Dislikes
- There is not so transport facility if you want to go by yourself
- Location is not good quiet dar away from city area
Faculty:
Some teachers are very great and friendly the curiculum is quiet large but helps in overall development foreign language is also their to develop skills and teachers are friendly and help us alot exam are comparitively easier
Likes
- Faculty and teaching method is really great. They are helpful and understanding
- Crowd is vast and including people from different parts of India. This diversity helps in understanding different personalities
Faculty:
My course is Psychology Hons (BA) . Faculty is understanding, helpful and supportive. They tell us each and everything if we have doubts. They are friendly as well. If you have an issue with teaching method of any professor, teacher incharge will be taking care of that.
Likes
- Infrastructure is average I would say and it's good I think.
- Teachers are good and helping but few only.
Dislikes
- I don't like the location of the college.
- I also don't like some teachers some are arrogant and do not help either.
Faculty:
Students here are more and teachers are less , sometimes they do not have allotted teachers for the whole semester. I don't talk to teachers much so I can't say anything about teachers. There are 3 exams per semester

Which college is better for Aerospace Engineering, IIEST Shibpur or SRM University? (Considering everything - from Faculty to Placements)
IIEST Shibpur is a well-known institute in India. Although it has faced some challenges in recent years, it has been making progress. Aerospace Engineering is the newest department at IIEST, having been established in 2011 by branching out from the Mechanical Engineering Department. Despite being a small batch, the department has a lot of potential.
- When it comes to faculty, IIEST has an edge over SRM. The Mechanical Department, in particular, is considered one of the premier departments at IIEST.
- IIEST also has better laboratory and infrastructure facilities than SRM, which is important for students pursuing engineering degrees.
- In terms of placements, both IIEST and SRM are not doing great. IIEST has the excuse of being a new player in the game, while SRM has had the department for a long time. However, IIEST does have slightly better placements than SRM.
It's important to note that ranking colleges based solely on placements is not always accurate. Research output is often a more important criterion to consider.
IIEST Shibpur has better faculty and facilities than SRM, and at a much lower cost. So, if you're looking for an Aerospace Engineering college, IIEST Shibpur is worth considering.
