I wanted to go research field and being PCM student chemical was the best option. VIT gives the freedom to do projects with PHD scholars and faculty and even provides entrepreneurship opportunities to students which is great. One of the major reason I chose VIT was the research projects that you can do. You can always approach a faculty for the same and if you are confused as to where to start you can always ask them for a topic or a way to start. The exams aspect is not too great as in every month we have papers with tests and assignments in between leaving less time for extra cirricular activites.

I chose chemical engineering as per my vision for future, the energy industry will never go down and will rise with time. And being a chemical engineer you can get into different industries like pharmaceutical, petrochemical, electrochemical etc. It is really a challenging course actually and will teach you how for the real world problems. Teachers are good, the only problem we face is with the language. As many of them are tamilian teachers, so sometimes we face problems. Otherwise everything is good. And there are two internal exams called as CAT1 AND CAT2 and two quizzes. And two Digital Assignments for theory and 10 DAs for lab.You get 60 percentage from your internals and the final exam alone takes 40 percentage of the total. Mostly every month is hectic.

The course curriculum has been the road map of my academic adventure. It's the structure that guides me through my chosen field of study. The faculty members have been the guiding stars of my academic voyage. All of my faculty are phd, very big thing for me. Still, some cons are there but overall they are good.

The course curriculum is updated frequently so that you read the things that are needed for now. Faculty behaviour changes with respect to their moods. As well as your Internal marks. Qualification for the faculty in VIT is that you need a doctorate certificate and a good level of knowledge. The time period of one semester is 4-5 months. We have CAT 1, CAT 2, quizzes and digital assessment, and finally final assessment test.

I love chemistry and hence have taken the course. Faculties are in varieties and they all are different. Faculties are mostly kind and they teach well. The ratio of students to teachers is very high. All the facilities are well-educated and most of them teach on smart boards. There are two unit exams and one final exam.

VIT follows a fully flexible credit system that allows students to select their faculty from the University for their subject. The curriculum was also well defined in the beginning and the student ratio maintained max 60 students in one class.
there are 120-180 students, with a 3:2 male-female ratio in chemical engineering, the faculties are really good, but there are continuous assessments throughout the semester, There are 2 CAT exams, that is midterm exams, quizzes conducted frequently and internals also, consistency is required to ace the exams.
The institute does not compromise with the quality of teaching whatsoever and hence have appointed the best of the professors (mostly all the facilities here hold a PhD). The institute also gives students the opportunity to get involved into research projects with professors who have an expertise in that field.
Faculty members are very helpful and highly qualified. Most of the faculty members have industrial experience and help prepare interested students in the same. All of them are very good in research and are always ready to support any student interested in research in the relevant field.
My course is really good. We have experienced faculty and the syllabus is updated. Our syllabus is exactly same as IIT's. We have industry tours as well. The labs are well equipped and we have smart classrooms. All our professors are wonderful, Prof. Mahesh Ganesh Pillai sir is really amazing. He teaches very well and is very suportive. HOD, Prof. Shishir Kumar Behra sir and my Proctor, Prof. Darmendra Kumar sir are supportive as well.
